The farmhouse style is beautiful, and the overall quality is excellent—solid, sturdy, and built to last. One of my favorite features is the built-in phone/power outlets on the top. It’s such a convenient touch and makes the desk even more functional. Assembly was a bit time-consuming, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow as long as you take your time. I ordered Cherry Brown, but was disappointed because it comes MUCH darker than the photo. Not what I wanted or needed. I wanted to return it, but I had already opened an already worthless packaging-box that was in very bad condition, plus I have no idea how to return something this big. Guess I should've ordered Light Walnut. Maybe it would be darker and match the Cherry Brown photo. It came in excellent condition. All pieces were accounted for except for the latch needed for the lock, and there were no holes in the board it connects to. I went to Home Depot to get one and had to drill my own holes. This comes with a small screwdriver, but I recommend a drill. And I actually needed it. The small holes on the side panels for the drawers that hold the sliders were not pre-drilled, which would make using this small screwdriver a challenge. Other than that, once put together, this is a nice-looking desk. ... show more

This is a great value. I usually do not like particle board furniture. This is attractive and well made. There are a LOT of steps to the assembly, but the instructions are clear, the parts are well-labeled, and everything fits together as it should. It is intimidating to get the 37 wooden parts and hundreds of hardware parts spread out for assembly. Do not fear; you can do this while binge-watching video, though doing so may take you five hours for assembly (that was my investment). The drawers work well and the tolerances for assembly did not create any problems with mismatched parts. You almost MUST have a riser for your monitor because of where they located the charging/power adapter in the middle of the rear desktop, but I think you would want to do so ergonomically anyway. Overall, we are very satisfied with the product. We looked around for a long time and are please with our decision to buy this. ... show more

For the price, a definite upgrade from what we had before. Nice size for the space we wanted it for. Love the drawers in addition to the cabinet. Though the top is more like formica than wood, it looks good from a distance and covered in clutter. Plus, no worries about spills, scratches or stains. As for assembly, it’s significant. No complaints from partner who enjoys stuff like that but it took him a few days working off and on to get it done. He had to make a few modifications along the way, and wood glue came out at some point. ... show more

Really nice desk. I like it a lot. Instructions were easy to follow. There was some damage to an unseen part of the desk and customer service was very helpful in resolving the issue. I also liked that they packaged it in a way that if there was damage it happened to an unseen part. The only issue I had was the screwdriver provided was not able to get the torque I needed but I just used my screwdriver that had a better grip. And it’s a lot of screws but totally worth it. Very nice desk...not difficult to assemble but will take longer than expected. The drawer slides are easy to work with but are not of high quality. A pair of the slides were damaged and I asked for replacements. They did come quickly but both were damaged during shipment. I bought my own on Amazon. So be careful assembling them. ... show more

Hands down the worst product I have ever bought on Amazon. The wood is extremely cheap quality and strips every time you put a screw or bolt in. The bolts they sent don’t fit, making it impossible to tighten any of the pieces together. And apparently the bolts are very cheap quality too.
