I attend Pirate Festivals, Ren Faires and various costuming events and love these Wevez Skirts. I currently have 3. I loved my blue and green mixed color skirt so much I add the solid red and solid black to my collection since they are great basics for a variety of costumes I wear. I recently layered up these two in a steampunk outfit worn to a comicon convention. In the Steampunk photo I used the solid red skirt as an underskirt/ petticoat and the black skirt has been bustled in the back and hiked up on the front sides using leather skirt hikes. The Ren-Faire photo has me using the black skirt by itself as a petticoat. These are nice full skirts but the more you layer these skirts the fuller they get and you get great "swing" action when you move around wearing them. I'm 5'4" and 210 lbs with a 38" waist; and my skirt still has plenty of stretch in it when I pull it over my 45" big girl hips. It's super comfortable to wear and if I were ever to lose a lot of weight then the drawstring could be pulled to tighten the skirt down to a much smaller size. I hope the sizing info helps you guys out. Oh, I'm short waisted so from the waist to floor I'm normal in height (30" pant inseam) so if your judging floor length keep that in mind. I guess if my upper body was not short and I had some height between my waist and breast I'd be about 5'6". Hope that helps some of you out. ... show more

I am IN LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE with this skirt. I got it to complete my Pirate wench outfit for my local ren faire and it was perfect and held up really well. There were a few loose strings that I just had to snip, and i threw it through the wash by its self once just because i could (didnt need running dye!). It is a very full skirt, i honestly felt like I had a petticoat underneath. great layers many layers. You cannot make it yourself for this price. I tucked some of it up in the waist band and then used skirt hikes. A++ would by again in different colors :) ... show more

So. I was a bit skeptical at first. And even after i opened it i was still worried that it wouldnt fit.... Its hard to find clothing when your plus sized. Its harder to find cute clothing that can be part of a costume. I read all of the reviews and took a chance. I wear a size 24/26 in bottoms. And it fits so nicely. It does have a small skirt on the inside but even that fits nicely. So this skirt could literally fit anyone. Its not even a tad bit tight. I was shocked. I cant wait to order more. For this price its a great buy. I would 10/10 buy again. (And i plan to!) ... show more

Ok I am usually skeptical about buying clothes online cause I'm fat as Hell and even 5XL clothes online is like a 1xxl in real life. So I see all the good reviews for this skirt so I go ahead and order. And I am IN LOVE with this skirt. Now im a big sasquatch of a woman but when I wear this skirt I feel like a tiny princess . It has so much flowing material when I spin around it is magical. So comfy. I will be buying more colors. Love it ... show more

Took a gamble on this skirt as even 4 star reviews mentioned pretty significant issues. I thoroughly inspected the skirt after opening and found no real issues. Seams were surged and sturdy. Ends were finished. Fabric feels pretty strong and even survived being walked on up a flight of 32 stairs. The white is super crisp, but yes it is see through even with the slip underneath. But, what white clothing isn't?? Was very crinkled out of the package, but considering they had to ball it up to ensure the lowest possible shipping cost to you, its to be expected. Nothing a little ironing or hang in a steamy shower wouldn't fix. Had some stray strings sticking out of the bottom hem, just clippings that hitched a ride through the machine. I pulled them out and my skirt is still intact. There are a couple of spots where the gathering or pleating at the top edge of a tier had gotten taken a little goofy by the machine. but unless you are studying every inch of every seam, it is not noticable. Waistband is nice and thick. Has a string to tighten. My string was one piece all the way around with lots of extra slack. I am a 26 waist at 5'4 and it fits beautifully. The length when worn at my hips is a little long and drags a little bit, which is perfect. The skirt is super full and catches the air nicely. I am able to tuck sections and still have quite a bit for twirling. Skirt says it is dry clean only. In all reality, no one is going to do that. Im not. I would recommend not letting it float free in your wash unless yours doesn't have an agitator, or if yours is a dyed color. I specifically bought mine white to avoid the dye bleed. I've had a dress like that and trying to get the color sealed without knowing how it was originally dyed is a nightmare. However, this was the perfect price for me to take a gamble so I can learn to tie dye my own skirt. If it's a success I will definitely be returning for more white skirts. ... show more

Many compliments, well worth it. Beautiful and extra 'flow-y', exactly what I was looking for, have bought three. Only problem is that the turquoise one is darker than in the picture, it's still pretty but looks more like a lapis color versus a turquoise/cyan.
