I was really hoping this wetsuit would fit well. It's great quality manufacture. All the joints between neoprene are sealed and taped nicely. The zipper is quality. The cuffs are great. It's thick, for sure - a very hefty suit. You won't be doing anything active in this suit for very long unless you're immersed in coldish water. For me, I'm size 6' and thin, with a 32 waist. The legs aren't quite long enough. They're also not wide enough - my legs are muscular and lean. Too tight there. Without a size chart, I ordered the medium because that fit well in another type of wetsuit I tried once. The body portion is pretty much right, but it'd be easier if I were 5 11. The arms are long enough, so if I were 5'9 or shorter the medium would definitely be too long in the arms, but probably right in the legs. The neck is uncomfortably tight especially if I sit or am bent over. I might be able to use it snorkeling if I stay straight flat most of the day. It is hard to zip up for sure - the flap gets caught in the zipper. It's easier with a little bit of help. I do wish I could try the large, but, I'm not that big in the chest. I picked this up to use for early season rafting in Colorado when the river is in the 40’s. I’m 5’9 ~200lbs and I got the size large. As expected, it is a snug fit, which is how I prefer a wetsuit to fit, and the arm/leg length is just right. The neck seal feels pretty good, and the raw-edge neoprene on the wrists and ankles helps keep a decent seal without feeling like it’s cutting off circulation. The back-zipper seems like it is good quality. I would prefer to see more of a gusset style flap behind the back zipper to help keep extra water out, it just has a standard flap. As others have noted, the key pocket is too small for any sort of actual key. While I haven’t tried it on the river yet (it’s ski season, you see…), it feels like it will be a good warm suit. ... show more

I'm 5'11" and 185 pounds and the XL was a great fit for me. I have a 2/3mm suit and when winter comes it just isn't enough. This year I finally ordered something heavier and I'm liking how it feels. It is a lot warmer. I have added booties and gloves too and that is really making a difference. I no longer look out at these December waves and hesitate to go out. Now I am fully capable of winter surfing. I used to quit at 62 degrees water temp, but I think I will try all the way down to 55 degrees and I'm not sure where I am if the water temp will even get that low. The black and red looks good. It's easy to spot out on the water, so that might help my wife keep tabs on me from inside the house. ... show more

This is a real nice wetsuit, especially at the "heavier" weights (5mm). I would absolutely give this five stars if it included sizing info in the description (see below). First off, this is thick! If you've had other, smaller wetsuits (3/2mm or thinner) you will instantly notice that this one is much heavier and will keep you much warmer in colder water. Having had a number of wetsuits at both end of the spectrums (cheapo $40 ones to $300 race suits) this suit is just as well made and fits pretty much as a wetsuit should. My main complaint with this suit is that there is no size guide listed. Because of that, I went off of the size guide of a previous, lighter weight wetsuit that I had. I am just over 5'9" and just over 200lbs with an average on the edge of dad bod build. I ordered an XL and it fit me perfect. Though it was a little long on the limbs, it fit snug but not tight in the waist and chest. Not too loose but not overly constricting (no more than any wetsuit on dryland is at least). If you are looking for a nice tri or race suit, keep looking (though you probably aren't looking here anyway if you are truly into it!) but if you are looking for a nice, heavy suit to keep you warm in cold water, I would absolutely recommend this. If I come back and the manufacturer adds sizing info, I'll change my rating to five stars. ... show more

This is my first wet suit. I ordered it to use while paddle boarding in the winter. It is made from thick neoprene and seems to be sewn very well. The zipper on the back works flawlessly and has a nice long "leash" so you can zip it up and down without any help. I normally wear a small in most clothes. I ordered a medium . I assumed it would fit snug and it does. It is kind of hard to get on. Once on and zipped up I find it comfortable and did not interfere with moving around so it should be fine in the water.
