The use of this tool made the installation of rivet nuts a breeze. Very easy to use (I bought the 16" size for better leverage) and it performed exceedingly well. I installed 4 8mm rivet nuts in about 10 minutes in my tractor lawn mower to mount an ATV fertilizer sprayer behind the seat back. I really like the kit storage box, not to mention all the screw arbors and rivet nuts included in the kit. All the different size screw arbers I'll probably ever need. The instructions could have been better but there isn't much explaining to do once you figure it out. This was my first time using a rivet nut tool. Now I'm a pro! :) should have bought one many years ago! ... show more

This rivet gun is a nice package, has many useful sizes, and the molded case is nice for storage and transport. It works fine, for occasional DIY use, it's a great option. Build quality is okay, really on par given the price. In my kit, I discovered (well after the 30 day window) that the included M6 nuts were not actually M6, but rather 1/4x20. I tried reaching out to the vendor (hoping that they would send the M6 nuts). They told me I could just buy them separately. That's true, of course, but I should not have to... their kit was packaged in error. So while I offer them kudos for quickly responding to the inquiry, they didn't make it right, so I've dropped 1 star. Otherwise (if they had fixed this issue), it would be a 5 star review. ... show more

I got this for my husband and it seems nice and heavy duty. The case itself has a good weight to it, not flimsy/cheap feeling at all. He does all our handy stuff at home and this was one tool set he didn’t have. Has worked well for what we needed so far!

Pretty solid tool. Used it to.set threaded inserts into an office chair. Instructions doesn't really cover how to properly set mandrel depth, depending on your depth you can over exert and damage a softer material. It's all in the feel of the tool. I honestly think that is why some.reviews are saying the tool broke. Having the mandrel too low to the surface can cause it to bind before making a full motion to set the nuts. I found that once the thread is inserted all the way, without it being tight, just run it out of thread and then set your mandrel to be roughly 1/8th inch from being flus with the insert. Doing that way yeiled great results each use with little effort on the tool. ... show more
