This thing is great. Not to big not to small even if you close it up for the night the paint doesn’t dry out as long as the sponge is moist. Sometimes the paper can give you a hassle. Overall though it’s great.

Compact and great for taking to art classes! Comes with a brush stand inside and keeps my brushes organized and separated while I paint. Small but awesome thing to have! Also keeps paint wet while I’m learning in class. I got some paint on the lid and it washed off very easily. There’s also a handy thick strap which wraps around the palette after use. Super helpful. This tool is genius!

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for the perfect miniature painting pallette, I had used the army painter and that one seemed too small and clunky so I found this guy and I decided to give it a try. Let me state that this boy is on the larger end for pallettes. It seals well, the paint brush rest it comes with is handy for keeping my few main brushes within reach and not rolling around. The dry pallette inside is nice. I like that you can store some brushes in he middle well, not too much to say on that. It's a pellette. The only thing is, most acrylics will stick to this pretty well so cleaning is tedious. The wet pallette! It stays wet forever especially when you use the band to keep it in place, it's a solid mixing area and works well. The only problem is the paper. I've had this pallette for over two months and the paper has been my worst enemy. It's not cut to fit the sponge, if it's not the perfect fit, it will curl, SOAK THE PAPER or else it'll be a nightmare to keep from rolling and crumpling. Overall a fantastic pallette but I do wish they'd trim the paper according to size.

I've had a chance to use this new wet palette paper day before last. It's unbelievably good. No curling, very durable, ZERO bubbling and even the edges of the paints remain moist. But probably my absolute favorite thing is that the paints don't absorb a bunch of water overnight, over-diluting your paints. This is especially helpful if you're mixing custom shades. This is not hype, this is the real deal. Here I am, gushing over paper, but it's really THAT good. Also, the sponges in the wet palette kits are the best I've ever used as well. I love these guys! They provide some great products at excellent prices and no matter where your skill level is they have what you need. I included a couple photos. The purple paint is by GW and has been on this paper for 2 days, lid replaced when not in use. No drying on the outsides at all. Minimal, if any, dilution from from water permeating the paper and completely smooth and devoid of annoying, paper-drying bubbles. These papers will save you product.

I waited 4 weeks to write this review to be sure. I use gouache primarily and after 4 weeks of use and not refilling or remoistening the sponge pad everything is as wet as when I squeezed it from the tube. The middle portion admittedly I haven’t used yet as I’m not as interested in it I ordered this product primarily as a stay wet palette with brush storage which has been wonderful. If anything everything stays a little too wet and I might wring the sponge out a little more next time as some of the colors are still so wet they’ve run together. Very pleased that nothing is moldy or disgusting and most of all nothing has even come close to drying out yet. I highly recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a stay wet palette for gouache (that’s also cuter than the other ones out there tbh). Size wise it’s about the same size as a small sketchbook but it is 3 layers so it is quite thick probably about 2-2.5 inches thick. It just sort of sits together with a band that acts as a fastener mostly so I probably wouldn’t want to travel with it full of paint. Though it is somewhat airtight or the paint would dry out. So use at your own risk for that or keep the sponge not as wet and it would probably be just fine. Overall really really pleased and this will be my gouache palette moving forward!

I had a large wet palette that I've used for years. It was a little bulky but did the trick. Recently the sponge on it, which wasn't the best and just seemed like a thick reusable paper towel type material, just disintegrated. Rather than replace the sponge, I wanted something more compact that fit better at my painting station. I found this and thought it would be perfect and well, it actually is. The material that the sponge is made of feels far more likely to hold up to continued use. It also came with plenty of pre measured paper for ease of use and even came with an addition sponge. I had the opportunity to use it and it was perfect. Kept the perfect hydration level through out. I was super impressed.

First of all, that's what pilot is pretty standard and how it works. I like the size. It's nice and small. Not too big. I bought it for when I went on a camping trip in 2022, so that way I could use my paint the whole weekend without having to bring all of my tubes. Then I forgot about it, in a backpack, for almost 2 years. It's now 2024 and I dug it out for some Warhammer painting, scared of the biohazard inside. There was none! No mold. Nothing growing. Just wet paint! I did clean it very thoroughly just in case, but I'm very pleased with this kit.
