I bought this helmet to use on my snowmobile & wanted it to have the modular flip up face, dual face shield (internal & external),didn't want to go broke buying it & lets be honest, had to look pretty B A! This helmet from Westt gave me all that & more! Like a 5 year warranty to start! You just have to go to their website & register your 5 year warranty & while you're there, you can complete a survey online & you'll recieve a free gift! I like free... As I was reading the paperwork that came with it, found out that you can set up "Westt connect" with NFC technology which is pretty much a bluetooth medical tag that can be accessed by medical personnel if your found after a crash. You have to connect to it thru bluetooth & set up your profile, if you want to. I thought that was pretty cool. I had never heard of this company before this purchase but found out that they're from Deutschland & I plan on checking out what other kinds of cool products they have.

I have used the helmet for about 3 months now and I like it but the visor-shield that can be lifted above the face of the helmet has become 'unhinged' and the one of the tabs that locks the shield to the helmet itself has snapped off and now is removed from the helmet as it cannot stay on... kind of disappointing after less than 90 days.

2020-01-20 I was so excited to have this helmet delivered . . . just like a kid in a candy store! I purchased this particular Westt for my girlfriend for when we go trial riding on the four wheeler and dirt bikes out at my family farm and in northern Wisconsin! We love the design of this helmet with the vents for air flow at the top of the helmet as well as by the mouth. These vents open/close with easy. The retractable sun glasses inside of the helmet will be put to good use as we are trail riding . . . . sometimes it's nice to have the sun glasses (while riding to the trails), but once we get to where we are going, we most likely won't need them, being we trail ride in a wooded area. The quick release buckle is going to be so much easier than my girlfriends hold helmet with 'D-Rings'. We will have the ability to remove the visor if needed and put on our riding goggles. My personal favorite is the removable/washable inside liner. Their is nothing like trail riding on a hot summer day and just getting coated with dirt from the trails OR mud running through puddles in which one sometimes gets stuck . . . . knowing that we will be able to remove the linear and wash it out makes a huge difference! My girlfriend was excited to receive this for her birthday, being that she really needed a new Westt. Who knows, given the snowmobile trails, we might get to use the this helmet sooner rather than later! Can't wait to go riding!

when i bought this helmet i tired getting in touch with the seller or company to tell me how to change the visor via email. i never got the reply. my guess was that it could be done and and waited for months. if they told me then that visor ant changeable i coulda return it but to no mails or reply that helmet is still in the box that came with it. haven't used it once . so if u are buying this than be cautious over all make is fine but visor is not changeable and the plastic tabs for the inner padding will not hold. mine broke the same day while inspecting so i super clued the tabs.

They advertise 3 vent holes but the one in the chin bar is blocked by the modular hinge so in reality you have one vent hole (very small) on the top above your head and one in the back. If you are going slower then 25 miles per hour you will be fogged out.
