Light weight, powerful, and surprisingly quiet. The digital display includes a gas gauge that comes in handy. And speaking of gas: This little generator is a gas "sipper". Under a small load it can last over 10 hrs. (and that's not too shabby). I highly recommend the Westinghouse iGen2800 to anyone looking for a great little generator at a great price. So far I'm happy with the generator. It was easy to start up, even in cold weather. It was much quieter then the last one we used. In the cold it would stop running without load in eco mode, but if their was a load to keep it revving or I turned off the eco mode it was fine. My only complaint so far is it doesn't have a fuel shutoff valve so you can't run the carburetor dry and must open the service panel to drain it. They provide a tube for this, but adding a shutoff valve would have been better. ... show more

I'm sorry for the late response was very, very ill, but trying to return the equipment I was told I could not because of the oil and gasoline even though if I ended out for some reason it would not stay sorted for a period of time.

Despite only running the house generator for limited hours to conserve fuel and extend its lifespan, our new energy-efficient Samsung fridge struggled to maintain its temperature during the power gaps, resulting in over $700 worth of spoiled food.
