I really like the look..bang for the buck. Ie-under 200. All the other rails were 400 and up and did not seem more functional or worth the difference in appearance. I like their look and function for the occasional times I need to bind something. These are on a 2023 f150 5ft 7” bed. Ford does not have the stake holes “pop outs” in the front. So you have to drill a hole in the plastic. I found a neat trick of putting the female (flat nut plate) on a 1x2 with double sided tape and pushing it up from bottom (under truck bed) and a helper start the hex head bolt from the top.     • Look Great! But Poor Customer Service From Westin unless You Email
The Oval Bed Rails Look Great on my truck and I am happy with the fit and function as well. My PROBLEM started when they arrived. They have a over sized black plastic washer between the mounting plate and the bed rail. Now they come pre assembled and you will need to loosen the allen head bolts to make adjustments for fitting the bed rails to your truck. The washer will have any where from 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch showing. Now one of mine arrived broken! and it's not some thing that you can buy from a hardware store because it to is oval. So instead of sending back the Bed Rails, I called Westin Customer Service and told them about the defect (could not have been damaged in shipping these things have really good packaging) and I asked if they wanted to send me a replacement washer or I can easily return the complete set to Amazon for replacement. He said that he would find the washers and send them to me but he would need to contact the Westin manufacturing plant to make sure he could get them as he worked at the warehouse. I asked if he wanted to get back to me as soon as he had a answer, he said no problem. I had gave him the model number on the bed rails, my name, my address, my phone number and my email address. I waited until the next day with hearing from them and called back. They didn't have a clue and even when I talked to the same guy as the day before he was just as lost. Gave them all my info Again an they said they would handle it. I waited Three days called back to ask for a tracking number. THEY HAD NOT A CLUE!!! So after I gave my Info for the THIRD TIME. After hanging up with what I now call " WORLD CLASS IDIOT'S" at least in the world of customer service. I went to the Westin web sight and sent a detailed email and asked for the part I needed and for them to Expedite Shipment. THEY FINALLY MAILED IT IN REGULAR MAIL ANOTHER 6 DAY WAIT & NOT ONCE CALLED OR EMAILED ME. NO I'M SORRY, JUST NOTHING! so BE AWARE THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCK'S ! If you order Westin Products from Amazon, once they arrive Open Them Inspect them and If you have ANY Broken or Defective part Send them back to Amazon for exchange or refund. I ordered these Westin Chrome Bed Rails for not only the price but also the quality that i have received from Westin in the past. I have always purchased Westin products and their customer service to me has always been very acceptable and promptly resolved. The only issue i had was with a brush guard where it was missing a bolt in which they sent me overnight for no charge. In regards to these, they fit great and the "oval" look sets them apart from others. Installed at night with minimal light and in the pouring rain in under 30 minutes. They send you two different sized plates that fit in the stake hole depending on the size of the hole. Bolts were long enough to fit over top of my Bushwacker bed rail plastic caps with no issues. Adds muscle to my 2006 F150 truck's appearance! Instructions need to be made clearer for the common customer. I'm mechanically inclined and it took a while. My bed rail caps were sealed and had to get creative.

For 2016 F-150 Short Bed: Rails look good but install instructions are horrible... worst I've seen. I can find not install videos. They do not address what to do with the bed rail caps and it does not look like the Feet of the rail fits the cutout (I did not cut out yet). I called customer service and asked for support. The guy was no help and had no advice to install. I asked if it could be mounted over the bed rail cap. He said others have said they would do that but he had no idea if it worked. He suggested I return the item if I don't like it. How do these people stay in business???? ... show more
