These are a little tedious to install, for a couple reasons. One, they're very tight, and the sides don't separate easily. What I found worked best is splitting them with a wide-blade screwdriver, and opening one end a bit more, placing it on one end, then sliding a finger across the rest, forcing it to open around the vent. The second small issue is that it's almost impossible to cut them the same length, as they require some amount of scissor pressure, and when the cut is made, moves the blades, slightly. Anyway, they look good, right now, but who knows how long they'll last, with season temperature changes, and hot or cold air moving over them all the time. Up side, is they're cheap, so easily replaced. I like them, though, and recommend. ... show more

These were brightly colored a very nice blue and looked great when new. Unfortunately, they faded to white within weeks after i installed them in my truck. I live in Florida and have tinted windows with UV filters, yet these still faded way too fast! The picture shows my experience with these after 2& 3 weeks in indirect sun (on vents in my center console) & also after 2 weeks on a vent that faced my window. After 2 weeks, the ones facing the door window are already white/silver! As you can see in the picture, they were a brilliant blue when new. These were easy to cut and install. They stayed in place on the vents with no issues. It's disappointing they faded so quickly as i really liked them at first. If you live in a northern climate that isn't very sunny, these might be great; but if you live in a sunny area, they may fade very quickly. ... show more

Bought these to go with the red trim on my car. You just measure and cut. Snaps onto vent luvers. Looks better than I thought it would. Don't take away from function of vents. Don't smell and there's no adhesive to mess with. Easy install. Very durable.
