I originally loved this faucet because it's style matched perfectly with our 1920's bathroom. We paid to have this faucet installed by a plumber and had to replace it only 4 years later with a new wide spread faucet (different brand of course) because the body of both handles because rusty. So rusty that it started to stain the porcelain which is why we had to replace it. Once we opened each tap up we could see that it was completely corroded. Great product but shipped incomplete. Missing cartridge and valve for hot faucet. Obviously it was ordered by another customer who took those parts out and returned to Amazon who then shipped that incomplete set to me. Fortunately for me I was repairing an existing faucet and did not need the hot cartridge assembly. That being said checking the contents of opened / returned products before crediting the returning customer and reselling the product should be what we all expect from Amazon. ... show more

This is a heavy cast item that feels great in your hands. I have no concerns with the finish, but I am concerned with the function of the actual faucet as I can feel the tension change as I turn on and off the faucet. Meaning the effort to turn the knob changes as one rotates the handle and so I am worried this thing is going to wear out. And then where do I get parts on a brand I have never heard of? If you know more about how these particular cartridges work then maybe this is a non issue. ... show more

I recently remodeled my bathroom in my loft condo. I purchased a 1920s pedestal sink to go with the original historic mosaic tiles on the floor and wanted a faucet to match the period/age and look of the sink. This faucet is exactly what I was looking for and it ties everything together perfectly. The spout has really has great lines and the hex shaped handle escutcheons complete the look. The construction of the faucet is very solid - valves are brass and the finish of the product feels high-quality. This faucet ties in perfectly with the Speakman vintage series shower head which will be my next purchase. Love the quality and look you get with Kingston Brass. We are renovating our master bathroom and went with these cross handle wide spread chrome faucets. They were easily to install and made without any plastic. The hot and cold buttons are porcelain. I love the design on the handle base. These are timeless and sophisticated looking. My faucet arrived missing two nuts and washers necessary for installation. No one answers any extension on their customer service number. I'm stuck with a half installed faucet until I get the missing parts.

The faucet set is pretty stunning with a classical french look to it. The weight of the fixtures is on the heavier/solid side which only compliments the looks. Installation was pretty straightforward, although the directions didn't lend ease to the process. I've never replaced a faucet before, but am pretty handy and I found the step by step directions a bit unclear in some areas. But, when it comes down to it, the price point and the fantastic look of the installed unit....especially on a black marble vanity really pops and transformed the sink into a stunning point of interest in my bathroom. ... show more
