I ordered this for my 17" crest ridge western saddle. It's going to be in storage until I decide if I want to sell it or not so I wanted to keep it nice. My saddle is big and heavy and it has those huge trail stirrups and it fit just fine in this carrier bag. I even put my Toklat fleece pad and my western cinch in with it just over the seat of the saddle. It's well made, but I'm not sure I'd actually use to to carry my saddle in because the saddle is so heavy. I mostly ride English so I even bought the English version of this saddle carrier for my dressage saddle . The bridle bag is huge, I put 4 western headstalls in there, no reins because I only use one set of reins for every bridle, but I'm sure they would've all fit in there, too. ... show more

Bought this to fly with my saddle. Fit my western 15” saddle great. Checked it into the plane with other miscellaneous items stuffed in the empty spaces. Made it to my destination with a layover and everything was as I had put in there. Saddle wasn’t damaged. And it was easy to carry. Even with 40# in the saddle bag, everything held up. So worth the money. Has thick handles for easy carrying, the headstall carrier has velcro straps to store headstall nicely and the saddle carrier works great for my big 16” bulky saddle with a bit more room for if you have a bigger saddle.

I ordered this not knowing anything about the maker, having always bought Big D brand. But the price was right and I thought I would give it a try. I was thrilled with the product that came. The bridle bag was bigger than the name brand in a good way. It has 3 hanging spots instead of the one my daughter's has which is wonderful for keeping multiple items inside. The saddle bag is plush and well made. Zippers work well and a shoulder strap as well.
