Out of the box review: fairly nicely packaged in a plain, brown cardboard box without any branding on the outside. Taped closed for tamper resistance. Inside the sheets are machine folded in a compact fashion and are inserted into a handled carrying bag that has a saying on it. Not really sure what that’s for but okay, why not? The sheets themselves are the correct color I ordered…blue…and the initial feel is crisp like new sheets before they’ve been laundered. But what about that somewhat off-putting odor that hits me as I unfold these sheets and put them straight into the washing machine? Shooooo, I sure hope that gets lost in the wash & dry cycles, because that is some unpleasant business right there, not what I want to breathe-in for 8 hours each night! Follow-up review to come. Follow-up: they laundered quite well! The sheets aren’t luxurious soft, but they are still comfortable enough for a restful nights sleep. The color didn’t wash out, the sateen sheen is attractive, and I like the middle-weight feel to them. Decent quality sheet set for under $100, that works for me! Oh…and the initial odor that was evident out of the box? Gone with the wind. I used scented liquid laundry detergent (Cheer), fabric softener (Final Touch), and a dryer sheet (Bounce). Washed on cool, tumble dried on medium. Positive results, will purchase again.

I got these sheets because the other ones were cheap and they shrank. I couldn’t tuck all four corners of the fitted sheet in due to shrinkage and arthritis in my hands. These are great! I can tuck all four corners in now. Deep pockets. These are also cooler and feel nicer next to my skin. They have a slight sheen to them. The pillow cases are soft and gentle on my hair. They were worth the extra money.

Really great quality sheets. I bought two sets and I'm glad I did. The fabric weight is perfect. Very good quality. Super comfortable and soft. Cool and lightweight but not see through or thin. Fabric is rich and perfectly weighted. The color is great. White that is actually white. Not creamy ir off white. Be sure to wash before use and pop in the dryer. Fantastic product! Decently priced! Will buy again.

This product compares unfavorably with other 500 TC sheet sets I've owned. The horrible chemical odor diminished after first washing, but sheets and pillowcases wrinkled a lot and could not be smoothed out. The cotton fabric is rough and scratchy like some polyesters and not comfortable. Hopefully, this may improve after many washings, but I'd be surprised if it does. The pillowcases are constructed with an inner flap instead of finished edge on one side--very awkward.

I have been meaning to review these sheets for a while. I really like them. The construction is wonderful. They pillow cases have gussets so the pillows don't come out. The sheets are marked for the short and long axis of the mattress. They weave is crisp, yet soft and they come in a fabric storage bag! I will order more of these in the future. Usually, I order Ralph Loren sheets from Macy's - but I think I am going to order more of these!
