These block out light wonderfully and look nice. The fabric is quality and has a nice texture to it, smooth to the touch but some very slight color variation when looking closely. The construction is nice quality as well. They are exactly what I was looking for.

These curtains are heavy and are lined with a white blackout panel that truly makes our living room a cave. I personally don't mind a little filtered light, but these are true blackouts. They worked well with the old transverse rod that has been installed in my home since probably the 60s. I did not want to take that down and replace a bunch of hardware so the triple pleats of these curtains work fine for hanging with the hooks that come with them. You must get these if you are looking to replace true pinch pleats on a transverse rod. Other curtains do not fit even though they say they are compatible. The color is nice too. It's sort of like a light denim which I like since we were going for a more casual look than our former custom drapes which were taupe and super-gathered. ... show more

I love these drapes. They are really good quality drapes, they help reduce small drafts from our picture window, and the gray color is very attractive. The price was another plus; very reasonable!!

First off... I measured and re-measured and I kept coming up with 93 inches in length (granted... I was measuring by myself and at 76... maybe I did not do such a great job) but I could not find 93 inch drapes ANYWHERE... So I figured I would have to go with 95 inch drapes and hem them but... when I got them... they fit perfectly. My lanai door faces west and I'm right across the street from the ocean so the glare in the afternoon is overwhelming not to mention not a lot of us have A/C here. These drapes keep my front room dark during the hottest part of the day and I can even watch T.V in the afternoon without glare. They are well made and the color is perfect (I ordered the soft tan). I would also like to add that pinch pleat drapes are HARD to find. Super mahalo to West Lake. ... show more

I am very pleased with these curtains. They do their job of blocking out light and definitely some of the heat that comes through our east facing window in the mornings. I also bought some for our west facing window to block out the afternoon sun and heat as it was pretty intense. The curtains are soft, and not stiff like some curtain materials. They are well-made, and I love the look of them being pinch-pleated as that adds a elegant appearance to them. We use the back tabs on the rods and it's very easy to move the curtains to the sides of the windows when I want to open them up. I have white sheer curtains under these which gives us diffused light coming in and a degree of privacy from the outside. NOTE: As with any curtains you buy that aren't custom made for you, these curtains will need to be sent to the dry cleaners for pressing as a home iron and even a home steamer doesn't get the wrinkles out. Still, these are a great buy and you won't go wrong with them. ... show more

I was nervous buying these because they didn’t have very many reviews. However, these are great curtains and heavy. I bought 4 panels to cover my wider window and they look amazing. Love the color and texture of the light blue. The quality appears amazing for the price.
