These truly are high-quality drapes. The color is spot-on (I ordered light pink). The blackout material is thick and it blocks out all light and also blocks cool, drafty, air. The pinch pleats are classic and stylish, and they hang just perfectly. I thought the drapes would need steaming, but they did not - they hung perfectly right out of the package, probably because the material is such good quality. The drapes have multiple options for hanging. I chose to use the tabs on the back, but you could also use the drapery hook pins (which are included), if you have a drapery rod with rings (note that rings are not included). I’m genuinely impressed with the West Lake Short Bailey Pinch Pleat Drapes. The craftsmanship stands out immediately—the fabric is heavy, high‑quality, and has a beautiful linen‑textured finish that feels far more premium than the price suggests. The color is described as blue‑green, but in person it leans much more blue, almost like a soft, light denim shade that adds a calm, modern touch to the room. One detail I really appreciate is the white fabric liner. It’s neatly stitched into the main panel, giving the drapes a clean, tailored look from both sides. While they are not considered insulating drapes, they do provide a cover that keeps the heat inside and the cold out. The pinch‑pleat design elevates them even further. Instead of looking like simple straight panels, the pleats give the curtains structure and a contemporary, custom-made feel. Functionally, they deliver. The sun rises directly through this window, and these drapes block enough light that we’re actually able to sleep in—no small victory. The shorter length is also perfect for our room with a sloped ceiling, where standard-length curtains would have been awkward. These are absolutely stunning drapes. Don’t think twice about this purchase, just buy them! I shopped around and researched forever before buying. The quality feels super expensive and they are lined with a thick material for complete blackout. I hung these in my son’s nursery and they are perfect for darkness during day naps and summertime evening sun. They also block out the cold during the winter well. His room has large windows and these curtains help keep his room warm. The coloring is beautiful, the pinch pleats are gorgeous, and again, they are super rich looking, thick and durable drapes. I love these so much I want more in every room!! They are easy to install and did not come out of the package wrinkled. I thought I would have to steam them but I did not. I’ll admit, when I first ordered these curtains, I felt like I was splurging. And then I realized you get what you pay for, these curtains are truly worth their money in gold ⭐️💛 The quality is there.The material feels heavy enough to block light and retain heat. I ended up steaming mine, but as you can see in the photos, I could have gotten away without steaming them. After steaming them, they feel so soft and flowy. In addition to that, there’s weights on the bottom. And that really helps the curtains to just fall right in place. I took quite a lot of picture you can see it from various angles and the room that they were used. In one of the photos I’m showing how much light they block in the middle of the day with the blinds close in my room. Overall, it is exactly what I was looking for personally it exceeded my expectations. Also, it brought drapery hooks which I did not realize they were part of the package so if I ever need them, I have them. I’m in love with these curtains 😍, they have elevated my room esthetics. Even my teen daughter said that our room looked like a model home bedroom (huge compliment, right ☺️?!)! My hubby too, loves them and has complimented me on the choice of curtains and curtain rods.     • Blackout lining is decent quality but drapery interior fabric is extremely thin and see through.
I'm hoping that the blackout lining blocks out the light as well as previous reviews have stated that it does. The lining seems like it will do a good job at darkening the room. However, the interior fabric of the draperies is extremely thin, literally "see through". I've never seen such thin drapery fabric, luckily the blackout liner is white so the draperies look nice. The pleats are well made, and the "green" color I ordered actually does look to be more of a greyish blue like other reviews have stated. This color will work fine but I have to agree that it does not appear to be green. ... show more

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect curtains for our nursery and these are a total win. Usually when you buy "blackout" curtains in a lighter color like pink, they end up being more like room darkening and still let in a ton of light but these actually stay true to the blackout promise because they are also double lined. Our nursery gets hit with direct afternoon sun and these have been a lifesaver for getting the baby to nap during the day. The first thing I noticed was the texture that they have a really pretty linen feel that makes the room look so much more put together and cozy. They’re thick and have a nice weight to them but they still hang really nicely without looking stiff. I didn’t need to steam them but that’s subjective. Install was superrrr easy. I could not be happier with these curtains! The dusty blue color is a perfect match for my wool throw rug and a blue upholstered chair in my great room. The fabric is a looks-like-linen rustic weave, but heavier and softer than linen. It resists wrinkling, so the nicely packaged curtains emerged nearly wrinkle free. I love the pinch pleats with the back tabs for super easy installation. The lining completely blocks any outdoor light, as well as the cold. I expect it will work well at blocking summer heat as well. The curtains are quite well constructed. The seams are all very straight and even, the lining hangs flat without sags or droops. The weight in the lower corners keeps the drape looking crisp and neat. The pinch pleats are uniform and add a classy touch to the otherwise plain curtains. Paired with the brass curtain rods I purchased, the curtains have really dressed up my room. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. ... show more

Received this set of curtains, not in original packaging, rolled and wadded up, stuffed half way in the zipper bag. Wadded and wrinkled. Looks as if they were returned, the hooks were already in place at the top. VERY DISAPPOINTED & DISSATISFIED! I have purchased these before, they are beautiful, great quality and a great buy. Don’t know that I’d ever get all the wrinkles out. Definitely returning. ... show more
