This Wesco 240150 manual drum handler is suitable for lifting and transporting most drums with capacities from 30 to 85 gal. It is powered with a manual hydraulic jack and has a 650-lb. load capacity with legs retracted and a 1,100-lb. capacity with legs extended. The unit is equipped with an automatic locking grip for hands-free attachment and release of steel, fiber, or plastic drums with rims 3/16" or higher. It can lift drums to a maximum height of 19" from the floor and measures 36 x 33 inches (W x D) with legs retracted and 41 x 36 inches (W x D) with legs extended. It has two phenolic fixed wheels and two swivel casters measuring 2 x 5 inches (W x Dia) for non-marking maneuverability on smooth surfaces, and a floor lock for stability when not transporting a load. (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back; Dia is diameter, the distance from one side of a circle to the other.) This manual drum handler is suitable for lifting and transporting single drums in a variety of industrial and commercial settings.Material lifts typically comprise a vertical metal frame and two forks that can support a pallet of goods and that can be raised or lowered to an optimal, ergonomic height for loading or unloading.
