I love the variation in the settings but I wish the “static” motion was the first option and not the last. Also, have batteries on stand by because these light drain them so fast.

So these are pretty great in general, I have bought a lot of them for my yard and they do want I intended. Perfect for areas that do not get sun and therefore solar cannot work. I was very excited when these arrived as I don't have an electrical outlet I can plug my outdoor Christmas lights into on the front of my house. The first set was packaged nicely and wrapped with a twist tie to keep the lights in place when removed from the box. The remote was on top and wrapped in a plastic sleeve with a plastic tab inserted to be removed from where the battery is connected to the remote. The first set went up and worked perfectly. The lights are bright and they flash in the pattern I chose. I haven't used the timer function as it stated the lights will work for 8 hours (it is dark for longer than 8 hours and I want the lights on as long as it is dark). The second set didn't work at all. The box looked like it had been opened and the lights were just shoved back in. Also, there was no remote for the second set. When I pulled the set out it looked like the lights had been wired wrong from the factory (I'm not sure if they just keep sending the same set out hoping someone will keep it or what). I will update with the return process and longevity on the set I kept. (That being said I would rather have had the lights replaced but these were the last 2 sets available when I bought them.) ... show more

I purchased these to add lighting to my tent for a camping trip. Super happy with them! Pros - Durable and can be tossed in a bag without breaking, provides nice warm light all around, can be remote controlled from 10-15 ft. away and the brightness level can be adjusted. Cons - Not the most compact item to lug around, so best if you are camping next to your car. I would definitely recommend these ... show more

My second purchase. I love these lights! I use them on all our camp trips. they are a nice addition and add some ambiance. I like all the different settings and that they aren’t overly bright. These lights are pretty sturdy too, they have survived a lot of weather conditions over the years.
