I rarely write reviews but this was too good not to! Ordered size small for my 36lb 4.5 year old who is obsessed with dressing up so we have tons of superhero costumes. This week he wanted to be a ninja. This costume is awesome! It's exactly like the photo (rare online to find that) and came with so many accessories! Received the black ninja costume. According to the measurements listed on the description I thought a medium would be the correct size for my 8 year old. He barely fits in it! I wish the size equivalents (see photo) on the package would have been listed in the description. Medium is size 6-8. He loves all the weapons and it looks cool.     • Great Costume but vest is MASSIVE

Great... BUT.... This costume was great for my 8 year old. It comes with ALL of the fun props and the suit itself fit well. The vest, however, was apparently fitted for a small rhinoceros so I had to use my mad seamstress skills (and by that I mean my non-existent sewing skills) to get that sucker to fit my rail-thin 8 year old.     • Dye bleeds on everything

My son loved this. He's 7 years old and slender and it fit perfectly. My complaint is that the dye bleeds horribly. Don't wear anything under it that you don't want stained. He looked like he had a 5 o'clock shadow for days afterward from having it on his face. I soaked it even though it says don't wash and the water was black for 3 washes and it still bled after that. ... show more

The suite itself is fine, form fitting, looks cool. The vest / shoulder pad part however is way to big, we literally had to use safety pins and paper clips just to keep it from falling off our son. Big design flaw.

    • Ninja costume works well for young children
Size: Large
I ordered a large but it medium arrived. Amazon was good to his word and replaced it immediately. We were creating a scuba diving outfit for my grandsons famous character day. This worked great as a wetsuit. And my grandson loves the Fighting Tools that came with it.

The costume did not fit to make it look like in the picture, specifically the head piece of it. The zipper section made the top of the head piece stick up funny, and there was no way for it to hold over the nose like in the picture. My son was forced to just tuck the bottom of the headpiece below his chin. The only positive to the costume were the “cool weapons” as my son put it. He wore it to a school function, making it unreturnable, but we opted for last year’s costume for actual Halloween. ... show more

Made small so size up at least 1 size possibly 2. Comes with all toy weapons but cheaply made. One broke within an hour. If your child is tall like mine the mask of the costume will not go over their head, so I ended up cutting the feet to give more room and still ended up buying another mask. Would have returned but it was so close to Halloween I just ended up making it work. ... show more
