The Wera Kraftform Micro 12 Universal 1 set is built specifically for this work. The Kraftform Micro handle is divided into three functional zones: a precision zone directly above the blade for fine rotational control, a power zone with soft-grip inserts near the tip for torque transfer without losing contact with the screw, and a fast-turning zone below the free-turning cap for rapid spinning between adjustments. Together, they let you move from coarse to fine driving without repositioning your hand. Every tip is a Wera Black Point tip, made through a refined hardening process for a long service life, improved corrosion resistance, and an exact fit on small screw heads. The TORX driver in this set adds a holding function that grips the screw in the tip, so you can position it one-handed and drive it without dropping it into an open enclosure. This 12-piece set covers Phillips (PH00, PH0 — including a size optimized for Asian PH screws and one modified to JCIS 0 standard), TORX (TX5, TX6 with holding function), slotted blades from 0.23mm to 0.50mm, and hex sockets from 0.9mm to 2mm — the range most electronics technicians, IT hardware fitters, opticians, and jewellers need. Each driver is color coded by profile and size under the Take it easy system, and the full set stores in a robust belt pouch so it's always within reach.

This is an excellent precision screwdriver set. While the tips and shafts are very similar in quality to Wiha, I find the handles to be of significantly better quality. I REALLY like the shape of these Wera handles, as well. They are a bit untraditional, but the wider section provides a great grip for screws with thread-locking compond on them. In comparison, the handles of my precision Wihas just feel cheap. The plastic doesn't feel much better than the throw-away Chinese models, and there is a noticable seam where the two halves of plastic meet one another (the rest of the Wiha drivers are great, though.) I must complain a bit about the tip selection, though. There is no Phillips 000 included, and there are more flat-headed drivers than most people will probably use. I also would've preferred to have more than 2 Torx drivers, rather than the Hex tips that are included. Also, it is unfortunate that Wera doesn't have as wide of a selection of screwdrivers available in general. For example, they do not seem to offer drivers with smaller Torx tips, like T1. Wiha definitely reigns supreme in tip selection. I really like the case that these came in. It is quite high quality, and has extra loops inside that can easily accommodate 2 additional drivers, which is helpful if you decide to add a PH 000 or others. (You can see these extra loops utilized in one of my pictures.) It also has velcro on the back with an included self-adhesive bit to attach to various surfaces, which is a super nice thing to include. One interesting thing about this is the included piece of literature that rates how well the adhesive will adhere to various surface types. This is very German of them. It's also worth mentioning the box these come in, even though it's not integral to the product inside. It is engineered well, and probably cost a good amount to manufacture. The extendable tab for hanging the item is strong and has very smooth sliding action. While it is probably just going to end up in the back of a closet, it is nice to see the pride the manufacturer puts into their products, and the excellent overall quality.     • Great set of smaller drivers.
My original reason for getting these was connected to my interest in the brand, Wera. I like having alternatives to Asian-made tools. Not to knock everything Asian-made (some tools I have gotten made there have been quite good). I like the tradition of European design and manufacturing. I found myself using these tools more than I expected. In addition to the phillips and spade bits, they have some different bits and sizes, including torx and hex bits. The handle lets you use a couple different hand holds, including the finger or the palm on the top (where they have a rotating hold). The case itself is protective (if a little prone to snagging the tip on the fabric. It was a bit of a splurge - this is a case where you get what you pay for. ... show more

    • So Worth It!
My new laptop had a mis-set screw that destroyed two cheaper screwdrivers without budging. A friend recommended Wera tools to handle the issue. He was so, so right. The screwdriver from this set undid the screw with zero issues, as easy as any of the others. Saved my bacon. The light magnetic effect on the very tip of the screwdriver even fished a screw out from under a heatshield. Pros: - Very well made, solid quality. Won't bend or fail from stubborn screws. - Well done magnetics, subtle and only on the tip. Very effective. - Convenient roll-up case. - Did I mention the quality? Cons: - None? I mean it's pricey for the size of the set but you get what you pay for, this is easily more than just twice as good as the other brand (starts with a C) that failed me so badly for half the price. I'll definitely be buying more Wera tools as I need them in the future. ... show more

Nice kit of these small-sized screwdrivers at a good price! I bought these to use at home on electronics and other things with small fasteners. I have a similar set from Snap-On at work- it cost more than double the price of this one, and has held up to many years of use without showing any signs of wear. I hope this set holds up just as well! So far, I’ve used this Wera set to install a new drive in a laptop computer - the tips fit the screw heads well, and the slightly magnetized tips kept the removed screws from falling into the computer, and made it a breeze to replace the screws during reassembly. All-in-all, I’m very satisfied with my purchase - now, I think I’ll go wandering around my house, looking for things to take apart/put back together! One thing - I couldn’t seem to find a list of the sizes of the included drivers, so I added a pic of the list off the side of the box…Hope this helps! ... show more
