These combo Square 2 / Phillips 2 bits are so good! They seem to offer grip where many standard Phillips bits fail. They also seem to last for a considerable amount of time, they don't mash or shatter on the first handful of uses. The only other bit that warrants attention is the Milwaukee ECX2 bits which combine a Phillips bit with a slotted/flat head. They work amazing as well. Personally I own both because the both has their use-cases, they don't replace one-another. I bought these because the thin head fits into some tight spots that have screws in agricultural/trailer plugs that we use. We learned that these bits work surprisingly well in the electrical hybrid screws as well. Better than some bits made for those screws. I’m buying more.

I got these on a whim, and now I cant imagine not having them. Electrician here, and we used Phillips and Robinson-drive on devices, panels, breakers, and this bit dots all of it without changing bits. I do wish they were longer, but I have an extension. Update: They wear out fast. They last about a week, and then they are rounded to the point they dont work. I still love them, but keep a few extra in the tool bag. ... show more

These are literally the only Philips drivers I will use. First they don’t break…unlike Milwaukee craptastic crapola. Second they don’t slip because they are both square bits and Phillips combined. I can also use them in a pinch for odd star screw heads ( like 8 point, because who has an 8 point in their kit?) ... show more

THE bit you need for wiring outlets and light switches. These ECX bits fit those funky square drive/phillips screws you find on electrical outlets and light switches. These hold up a little better than the cheap ones. I've never a bit break in the middle, but these claim to be stronger, so nice i guess. It does hit square screws enough to work. I overlaid new cedar fencing over an older one on both sides of my property and went through about 500 screws with these. removing a few older screws was definitely easier and when the stripped out the bit held up a little better than typical cheap ones, but still show wear. For the money really happy with these bits and would recommend. For commercial work, not sure they're going to hold up the way you need them to, but for lighter jobs and homeowner projects don't see how you can go wrong. ... show more
