Otherwise, Its a good tools despised its durability is questionable. I would not recommend to anyone if planning to use it on automotive repair applications. Bought this pair, because it included the tiny 105 degree angle driver. A couple observations, have not actually wprked either of the jigs yet. The 105 is not magnetized and while it slips easy into the Makita cordless quick-change, any hex bit in the driver will slip back out. ……….I've seen responders talk about other Universal sockets -- seems quite a few on the market. The grip pins on this model do not depress inward more that 1/4", which makes this jig useless for larger nuts -- it was for larger nuts that I wanted it. Also, the pins are really loaded. To use, constant pressure is needed to keep the socket engaged -- which, if you are trying to loosen a nut, is counter productive. Lack of depth to capture a larger nut is a real problem -- and any part of the bolt itself exposed thru a nut will keep the tool from engaging. ……….Just tried the Universal on a 1/2" crown nut and it won't push in past the crown. ……….The socket Is two inches long. Seems like there would be plenty of room inside for a deeper 1/2" grip, and longer springs might make the push-in a little softer. Otherwise it's a pretty nice pair! Fair price! ... show more

I originally got this just for the universal socket (I am building a 'to-go' tool kit and figured that would help save space). But got to use this angled adapter to adjust some already installed drawer slides and it was truly a life saver. Did not have a drill small enough, but this got right in to help. If there is no pressure being applied it will just spin, but once pressure is applied the bit will rotate. I am not sure how much torque it can take, but I would say it is best for driving screws. ... show more
