I live on the coast and needed stainless screws where they are exposed to the elements. Except for a couple that broke, they worked well. About 25% wobbled while I screwed them in, but worked well otherwise. It helped to drill pilot holes in the boards being attached.

I have found that these are the best screws I have ever used. I am using them to build my back desk. The star head is so much better than the Philips head. I have used 3 boxed of screws so far and I am on the same star bit (the one I purchased seperately). There has been no stripping of screw head.... at all! The screws themselves are very strong.
