Simply pop the 1/4-inch shank of your sanding drum into your preferred chuck, then get to sanding. This package includes one 1/2-inch sanding drum with a 1/2-inch diameter (1/8-inch shank), one 1-inch sanding drum with a 3/4-inch diameter (1/4-inch shank), one 1-inch sanding drum with a 1-inch diameter (1/4-inch shank), one 1-1/2-inch sanding drum with a 2-inch diameter (1/4-inch shank), two 80-grit sanding sleeves in each size, and two 120-grit sanding sleeves in each size. I had bought "premium branded" sanding supplies that were twice the price of these. I thought I'd give these Wen drums a try. To date, I see no issue with them. They have held up very well and the disks last as long as the much higher priced brands. When I need more, I will continue to buy Wen!

For the price they are fine. I'm disappointed because I was expecting something better and sturdier. Should have known better they are attache to a drill press. They are very small and they work but... wear out fast and are not good for using on the larger pieces of wood I generally work with.

Bought this set to sand down the circle cutout in the pet dish holder I'm building. Didn't have the proper tools to cut a perfect circle. Thus, needed to hand finish the cut out. Worked well. Did a lot of sanding to remove a good amount of wood. Took some time, but all things considered, the work went quickly.
