I bought 300 sq. ft. of laminate flooring and did some research before starting the project. One of the recommendations I got from everyone was to get a special blade for laminate, because it will ruin a regular saw blade in no time. This was far from the most expensive blade, but i knew it would probably be a one project use tool and I did not look for longevity. It worked fantastically for the entire project and the last cut was as clean as the first one. I was able to use it in my chop saw and my table saw so it got quite a workout. If you have never cut floor laminate one word of advice. Regardless what blade you use, cut from the underside to prevent chipping on the surface. ... show more

I gotta say, I've been really happy with pretty much everything Wen I've bought. Their fiber cement blade is no exception. I'm no pro, but I've used Diablo blades, and they really don't seem any better to me. After completing the siding on my 10x10 storage shed, I can say the last cut was just as clean as the last. Seeing as I had no more plans for fiber cement work, I then gave the blade to my neighbor. He used it to reside two walls at his rental property and said it's still cutting fine. Made a very rough cut even on the first Hardie fiber cement board. It looked like it tore through the board rather than cut it. The edge finish is non-existant.
