abunda_amazon_reviews I got this specifically to cool the house down for at least a few hours during the hottest part of the day after a hurricane. The humidity and heat without power after a hurricane can be severe. This unit (on propane) will run a whole house A/C system along with your refrigerator and freezer and a few other things too. This will provide much needed relief during the clean-up efforts. I use a much smaller (Honda 1000) generator to keep a refrigerator and freezer going when this unit is not running. This unit was very easy to set up and operate. I put a propane conversion kit on it and have not run it on gas. It starts quickly and runs smoothly. Pretty loud, so make friends with your neighbors haha. I have it connected to a Generac Homelink transfer switch and this thing will pretty much run the whole house, minus the central AC of course. Doesn't have a wattage output display, and I can't figure out the hour meter - it appears to be a simple timer and doesn't appear to be cumulative, hence docking a star. Plenty of power.
Great product. Had ran on petro. , and propane, but prefer petro. Noise level is very tolerable, twice I have had to stop and listen for it running when at 150 yards away ; neighbor's(150yrds away) haven't even noticed. Myself like others will put it on a NON-ethynol diet with full synthetic oil after break-in. The electric start, coupled with duel fuel capabilities it is a nice piece of mind. PS. We have never been able to use A/C and microwave, in our camper, at the same time till we got the DF 1100T .

Nice generator with a flaw
Before you buy this know that if the battery dies you cannot pull start it on gas it must be on LP. Never heard of this safety feature before... I only have another generator and it runs on gas it only has a pull start. Makes no sense to me... I would have returned it but it was full of gas and I threw away the Box.
