Produce up to 4800 surge watts and 4000 rated watts of power. The keyless electric start lets you turn on your generator at the press of a button, and includes a recoil starter as backup. The WEN Watchdog CO Shutdown Sensor helps protect both you and your family by automatically turning off the generator if dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are detected. Our 224cc engine operates at a modest 62 decibels at quarter load. This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 4800W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The built-in wheels and telescoping handle make for easy portability while the ultra-efficient 1.9-gallon tank provides up to 7 hours of half-load run time. The fully-packed panel comes equipped with four three-prong 120V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle, one 120V TT-30R RV receptacle, and two 5V USB ports. This is THE DREAM MACHINE !!! The engineering an thoughtfulness that went into this generator is beyond belief !!! The gauges to tell you the amount of power it is using in percentage, the fuel tank quantity of fuel remaining, the voltage output. The start button and the obvious pre-checking before starting is obvious in the slight delay after you push button and before it starts. Also the engineering that went in to the oil fill over flow which is directed down a spill spout into a catch area which has a rubber stopper to ensure you have a rag or paper towel under it before you pull the rubber plug out to drain the overflow!! And the list goes on. You need to experience this !! And so quite I could carry on a normal conversation with my wife standing beside it !! I was running "eco mode" and with all of my 120v devices running in the house , I wasn't even up to 50% !! I had 9 fans running , two freezer / refrigerator combos , one very large freezer, an all the lights turned on in every room. I also had three backup battery boxes, two computers and our TV running !! and it was putting out 123v!! If you a generator , check out this one first!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We were looking for a newer generator for camp. We have a Champion 2400w inverter and it’s really dependable but didn't have a 30A to run the AC properly. It's done well for us a good 4 seasons and cold camping. New camper=new generator. We were using an older (louder) 4500w Champion until this arrived to open slides and test AC. The DB difference is pretty amazing. The WEN appears well built. The pull-out handle and wheels are a nice add. The only negative is the oil drop. There is a port to release the 10mm screw, but the oil drips out from under the machine. You'll need to put the generator on a table or stand and create a port under it to catch the used oil. Our Champions funnel out the side. No biggie. The push start is tricky. It has a delay. Push the start and wait about 3-5 seconds. One trick I have found recently is to pull the rip cord out slowly until there is some tension, then give a good pull to start (or press the start button). This has resulted in one pull starts for all my rip cord machines. Mower, chainsaw and other generators. I ran it 10 hrs then changed the oil. I did purchase the magnetic oil cap. Worth it. There were some metal grains I cleaned off. It’s a tad heavy and bulky, but a quieter beast so far and not much louder than our 2400w Champion, but twice the output. Nice enclosure and easy access to the filter, battery and plug. The battery does come disconnected. It did have enough juice to spark the 1st start, though. Overall, I hope this performs well and lasts us a few seasons. ... show more

This generator starts up fast, runs smoothly, and isn’t too loud. The RV-ready outlet is super convenient, and the fuel shutoff feature helps keep the carb clean. Lightweight enough to move around without much struggle. Great buy for home backup or road trips.

I dont write many reviews... but here goes. I read all the reviews on this product, but i was nervous ordering on amazon without a "bricks and mortar" nearby if we had issues. I ordered a Wen touter previously and was really impressed with the durability and price, so... needing a generator for camping mostly i went with this. The price point for 4800w with electric start was great... free delivery? Very good....unfortunately our first generator would not electric start.... i thought... oh boy, heres what i feared! But.... calling Wen customer service was amazing! You get a great person that you can understand! They shipped me a new battery and a new control module. Unfortunately that still didnt fix it, so we had to send it back. Yes draining the oil and gas seemed like it would be a lot of work to send back, but if you think it through, it wasnt that bad. Sent the unit back... they got it on monday, and i had a NEW generator on friday! Just in time to go camping! ***note to all new owners! Press electric start button in until it blinks. Let off button, then do one full press in/let go.... THEN it hesitates for split second then starts! So.... not quite what the directions say! Overall pretty happy ... show more

One day delivery - amazing Amazon! The best instruction manual I have ever read. They really address the "stale fuel clogs up carburetors" problem. I got it all set up in advance of Hurricane Helene coming through Georgia. I put it on the deck and rigged a big tarp over it. It started right up, then shut down. Did this 3 times before I noticed the YELLOW carbon monoxide light. At first I thought it was detecting too much CO, which was surprising since it was outside on the deck. But then I read that the yellow light means CO detector ERROR - call the company. It won't run until I get this resolved. This morning I called their tech line and a guy talked me through taking the thing apart to get to and disable the CO sensor (which I thought was questionable). It was impossible to get to. After screwing around with it for an hour with him, he suggested that I return it, but I had to repack it. The thing weight 100 pounds so that was no easy task. I got it up to UPS and Wen will send me another one. But it won't arrive until after Helene slams through Atlanta and for sure takes the power out for at least a couple of days. We'll be in the dark. Needless to say I am disgusted with Wen. DON'T BUY ONE. ... show more
