Our dogs LOVE this food & it keeps them happy and healthy. We have had three Standard Poodles, and all of them have been given this (after puppy food), from the start. One of them wouldn't eat just anything. This is his absolute staple. Standards can have allergies; not with this food. Until recently we purchased from our local Feed store, but for whatever reason, they no longer stock it. Thanks to Amazon, I can order it and obtain in a day.

I sincerely love this product (as do our dogs) and I’ve bought it off Thrive for years. It’s been out of stock there for two months, so I tried Amazon who delivered a case of 12 with other products in a monthly subscription box. The box was marked heavy but twice the size of its contents and not padded in any way. Half the cans are seriously dented and their bouncing around ripped open other bags in our subscription package. I realize this isn’t the fault of the seller, however, since there are no returns of this product allowed, I cannot find a way to report the poor packaging to Amazon. The cans still seem salvageable this time, and I’m not looking to return them, but I’m obviously hesitant to keep this on subscription.

I bought this based on the label indicating it was made of duck and sweet potato, which is the restricted diet my allergic dog is on. I guess it basically is but do not buy it if your dog needs a limited ingredient food for food allergies. It also contains chicken by products which my dog is allergic to. Sadly I did not read the whole label until my dog had eaten a couple of day's worth of this food and had a fairly severe allergic reaction. I will not be feeding anymore of this food to my dog and I guess i will donate the rest of the case to a shelter.

This is a good product. I could buy it at the Pet Smart store, but buying it on Amazon saves me a shopping trip and gas!! I recommend the product and purchasing it on Amazon!
