I adopted by a small little fat chihuahua back in Nov 2007. The pet shelter at the time gave me an estimated age of 3-4 at the time. My veterinarian confirmed his age to be 20 last year when she looked at his teeth, did some blood work etc... My dog has ONLY eaten this for his food for the past 16 years. Yes, sometimes I mix wet food with dry food if he has had some stomach issues, has gotten sick, and has an empty stomach. Earlier in his younger days I did give him some treats here and there when he would do something good, take him for a walk, etc.. But this food has been nothing but AMAZING. I HIGHLY recommend this product to everyone. Yes my dog who still has some teeth, still eats this twice a day!

This is by far the best food for our 6-year-old German Shepherd. 2-3 years ago he developed EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency), & after ongoing problems with vomiting & diarrhea, we were at our wits end. Finally, we went to a vet who recommend trying a simple, low fat food - just a commercially available, high quality weight control formula. We were originally on Eukanuba weight control formula, but wanted something with better quality ingredients. Enter Wellness Super5Mix. Luke loves this food & has no problem snarfing it down come mealtime. He's actually gained weight (which he needed) on this food & is back to his normal, heathy weight. I think he digests & absorbs the Nutrients from this food better than a lot of others we've had in the past. We don't have to feed him as much of this food due to the higher nutritional quality. Overall I think he will be on this food for life. It works very well for him & we couldn't be happier.

My wife and I have 2 rescue dogs. It was discovered the oldest has a food allergy. This brand of dog food and ingredients does not give her any adverse reactions. So for the past 4-5 years she has been eating this type of Wellness Complete dog food. She is perfectly healthy, and has no allergic reactions. Aside from the ingredients, we also love this food and supplier for two other reasons: the price is reasonable for the high quality, and the ease of shipping; we always have received the food within two days as a Prime member. So....we love it!

My older dog loves this food. Her age and knee problem has taken away her ability to go on her walks and she had been putting on a little weight. I was a little unsure about feeding her a weight management food. But she loves the taste and seems to have a satisfied tummy. She has also lost some weight in the two months that she has been on this food. The only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is the cost. We were used to feeding her a high quality (high price tag) dog food but this bag of food has less product. But it is worth it.

This is a great, high quality dog food. One of my dogs had recently gone to the vet because he's always bloated and constipated and I was worried about megacolon. Turns out he was backed up all the way to the small intestine. The vet put him on Royal Canin for gastrointestinal issues and it's been great for him. But I live an hour away from them and don't have a car to go pick some up every month, so I Google searched for some high fiber food and this popped up. Suffice to say I was not disappointed. It's been awesome. I mix it with my Taste of the Wild Bison and Venison flavor and his special kibble and he's cleared up pretty fast. He still has his days, but he's so much more active and playful and I'm so happy with this. I add Missing Link Ultimate Skin and Coat supplement for more fiber and some pure salmon oil for fats. Amazing combination, and fantastic product. Will be buying again.

My older (but young at heart) pup loves this food. She's had a few other varieties of Wellness brand dog foods but this one she loves to eat time and time again. She has been on other healthy weight foods but this one agrees with her the best so I've been ordering at least a bag a month for her. I measure out her food and her weight has been pretty consistent. My pup will eat this food and clean her bowl after every feeding, if anyone saw they would think she was famished! I also like that this is made in the USA, some of the other "diet" foods I have tried with her I don't even want to know where they came from.

If you have never investigated what is in your dogs food, and you think it is all about the same...READ THIS ! All dry dog food is NOT good for your loved pet, and it is NOT the same. MANY major brands of dog food, including most that are sold at local grocery stores are not good for your pet. Yes...they will survive on them...and yes...they might like the taste, but investigate ! Useless calories, fillers of cereal husks, and other trash are typical ingredients....and....the PRIMARY incredients. Wellness...and some other brands....all of which will cost you more than the cheap brands, are made with chicken, lamb, or other animal products as their MAIN incredient, which will be the FIRST one listed on the label, by law. With added antioxidents, vitamins, and joint compounds, these premium foods will extend the life of your pet. Feeding them the cheap food is like feed your child McDolnald's bugers 3 times a day, with all the desserts they can eat. They will live, but you are killing them slowly. Our dig loves her Wellness food, and I feel better knowing I am doing the best I can for her. Does you dog deserve any less?
