This was supposed to be a diamond cut shiny necklace, but it's not. Very disappointed in it. It doesn't look like white gold at all. I would have returned it, but my husband managed to destroy the box before I could stop him. Keep looking, don't get this one.

I bought this for my wife for an anniversary gift as she wanted a new rope chain to hold a pendant that contains some ashes, the chain she was using didn't look thick enough to hold the weight. We checked out a few jewelry stores and their prices were extremely high, we compared the weights with this chain and took a chance on it,So glad that we did, this chain looks beautiful in the box and on her, she is very pleased with it and confident that it will hold the pendant. I wasn't sure in the picture if it was just the reflection on the chain or if it looked like 2 different shades of gold, in person it looks like 2 different shades that compliment each other and sparkle in the light. The item shipped very fast, and was here a day earlier than promised so that was a bonus.

Overall I am okay with this chain; however, it was listed as a 1.5mm wide chain and my digital calipers shows it at only 1.3mm. Additionally, the weight was supposed to be 2.4 gram and my digital scale shows it at only 2 grams. Another Amazon seller is listing a comparable 1.5mm chain at 3.7 grams that is slightly more expensive, but I wanted to support a small business and so I bought this one. I emailed the seller 8 days ago & reported the discrepancies, but I've not heard anything at all from them, and probably won't. It was packaged very well, stamped "14kt" and is very pretty. But at the thinner & lighter size, I'm not sure how durable it will be.
