This Lifeguard short is a great fitting true fixed waist boardshort. It is made of 100% brushed polyester microfiber which looks as good as it feels. It is 21 inches long when measured on the outseam. The cargo pocket on the right leg makes it easy to carry the essentials. The Lifeguard logo is clearly visible and will make it easy for other swimmers to find you.

I love these trucks. However, I’ve modified them just a bit. I cut out the inner lining. That leaves me with just the mesh and the drawstring.     • Great suit but it is tight and a bit too thin in all the wrong places!
Yes I am giving this 5 stars but I am having to return it for the following reasons. It fits as expected and the short length is about perfect for the fitness and exercise swimming that I bought the suit for. Because of the short leg length, I thought it would work great at eliminating the need to constantly 'hitch-up' my legs to give me room to maneuever for high kicks, knees and other exercises requiring large leg movements. I do have an issue with the fabric or lack of fabric in the front panel. I realize that the Spandex fabric used is more tight fitting but a bit more up-front would have made a big diffence in my case. It allowed for more of my manhood to be visibly outlined and made me worry about having a looky-looky episode by anyone inclined to do so. And I think it would be especially revealing after it became wet with a dunk in the pool and I'm afraid it would be even worse. It's not being in the pool and under water that bothers me about the possible modesty problem but it would be after I get in and afterwards getting out that would be an issue. And if my wife was uncomfortable me being so "front and center" with my manhood, then it would draw more attention than I necessarily would be uncomfortable with. ... show more

    • Too tight around upper thighs

I am a size 30 in jeans so I thought it would be fine if I ordered a size 30 in these. I had seen other posts recommending to order a sizer bigger but I though: "Nah, that can't be my case." I got a size 30 and everything fit nicely except for the part above the thighs. It felt really tight, as if it was going to cut off blood flow. I am super fit, swimmer build but I guess my thighs are above average thickness. I've ordered a size 32 and it was a little tight still but better fit. You might have to order 1 to 2 sizes bigger depending on the thickness of your legs. Otherwise, they seem to be a great product. I've tried them out in the pool, no complaints. I feel more comfortable wearing them because they have a looser look due to the mesh. They look great. ... show more

I swim for over 40 years, and had used all kinds of swimsuits, and this is by far the worst. First of all it feels like its made for spongebob sqarepants, design is awfull, the material is the worst I have ever used, does not stretch a single inch its like wearing a piece of cardboard, finally it came with no speedo tags at all, which makes me think its not the real thing, I have real speedo ones and the tags on the suit are way different. Just stay away from this wonder how it has so many "good" reviews. ... show more
