I ordered six of the 24" shelves and absolutely love them - have gotten multiple compliments already. I installed them by myself in an afternoon - very easy. Just make sure to use all of the anchors to fully secure the backplate.

    • Won't install flush to the wall

The screws are too long for my wall I guess and they won't screw in any further causing the plate to hang loose and therefore the shelves as well. Tried everything including getting new screws and anchors. Tons of holes in the drywall now. Had a contractor finally come and take a look. He said that the poles in the brackets are too weak to hold the shelf weight without anything on the shelves even, and that they stamped the "top" direction upside down. So frustrated. I really liked these shelves due to the streamlined look and the lighting. He installed brackets underneath to hold the shelves straight which defeats the purpose of "floating" shelves, and it looks like crap. ... show more

Absolute junk!!!! The shelves themselves are ‘ok’ quality but the bracket it comes with is total garbage. The anchors wouldn’t hold up a 4x6 plastic picture frame. The brackets all came bent and flimsy. I ended up having to use toggle bolts to make it work and it still sagged. Had to buy brackets to make them even and not useless. I should just return them but after having to use toggle bolts, it’ll cost more to fix my wall. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT ... show more

    • Easy install but Light dies very quicky
Item was an easy install. The only thing im not pleased about is the fact that the light doesnt last that long. Even with fresh batteries, it tends to die out within 2 days and I only put the light on at night from 10 pm to 530am. The whole reason I got this shelf was for the light & I am quite disappointed. Not sure if it is a defect in the light or what. Other than that it looks great for holding extra towels & wash rags. ... show more

I use this wall shelf to hold my projector and like most reviewers, I suffered from the same issues. Let’s begin with the cons: The wall shelf came missing pieces, so now it has a small wobble with it. I’m nervous to sit anything other than my projector on top of it. The light stopped working the FIRST time I used it. So if you’re like me looking to do some reading before bed...you’re better off lighting a candle because that is the exact amount of light it gave off the first time. Pros: It hasn’t fallen yet and it’s the perfect size for my mini projector. Installation, minus the missing pieces, was incredibly easy. My cons defeat the purpose of purchasing the wall shelf, but there wasn’t anytime for me to turn back. For the price you get a decent white wall shelf. However, if you’re looking for a sturdy shelf with plenty of light. This isn’t for you. ... show more

    • Nice shelf, great led lights, terrible installation.

Received the shelf and everything appeared to be OK. No dents, marks, scratches nothing. Looks good. Followed the directions and mounted the black floating shelf bracket with the drywall anchors. Everything attached to the wall perfectly! Where my issue occurred is once you attach the white floating part of the shelf, there are two screws (one for each of the black arms extending outwards into the shelf) that require a single screw to stop the shelf from falling off the wall. I tried to screw them in (after making sure the white floating shelf was flush with the wall) and the screws just did not want to go in past a certain point. I took off the shelf and I noticed that when they drilled the holes for the screws, they were off by half an inch! I figured OK, I have a drill so I can drill a new hole. I did so and one screw went in nicely but the second one would not go any further (about 3-4mm) from being flush. Since the screws are tiny and are of poor quality of course the threads were stripped stopping me from removing them and re-drilling out the hole. So now I am stuck with two options. Leave it up with a single screw hanging out a bit or take a hammer to it to remove it from the wall and return the item. Its more work to remove it at this point so I guess it stays there. Definitely not happy with the product and will not be buying any more for my home. ... show more

This item is ok the mount bar came bent on all my orders. It took several hours to slowly straighten them out. They look nice . I ended up going with another brand of floating shelves to finish out my project. They also don't look durable. But I'm not hard on the things I own. It is all but impossible to get the led lights out to load batteries. Cheap Clips broke on removal. I ended up gluing the lights back in so now they can't be used which is one of the reasons I chose these shelves. ... show more
