I really like these shelves, which we use over our make-shift bar. I use them to set out hospitality items like nuts, cocktail napkins, cork screw, or garnishes (limes). They are sturdy and relatively easy to install.

The media could not be loaded. Finding the right bookshelf was really tough. I’m so grateful I found this option on Amazon. I love the thickness of the shelf and the depth is literally perfect. All the shelves I was looking at weren’t deep enough for my Harry Potter books, nor could they support the weight. This shelf is so cute and such a great addition to my bedroom. Not a horrible shelf, haven't tested it with heavier items just yet. There does seem to be a bit of sagging like some of the other reviews mentioned. So far so good however. It does look nice, let's hope it holds up.

I bought this to put above my coat rack (see pictures). Now that it's in, I really like it and think it seems sturdy and will last a long time. Getting it installed was a battle though. Partly my fault and partly not. First, I would normally try to install something like this on a stud, but this didn't come with the hardware needed for that. This only came with hardware for anchoring to drywall. I figured the hardware looked sturdy enough so I decided to just go ahead and install it without looking for studs. Low and behold, I hit a stud by accident on my first try. Then I was in a predicament since this didn't come with any real screws (it just came with little bolts that would connect to the drywall anchors). I decided to keep going and just went and found some regular screws. Then since the two ends of the mount are 16 inches apart and so are my wall studs, I hit a stud on the other side too! So then I had to go find more screws (I stupidly only went and got two for the first side). Once I got all the parts I needed, I was able to get it installed mostly without incident except that you need a 5/16 drill bit which I also did not have. Also, in retrospect I think maybe I should have maybe tightened the bolts/anchors more than I did because they were extremely lose and my shelf ended up just being held up my the screws that I screwed into the wall studs. The last big issue that I had was that after I tightened some of the screws/bolts the frame bent and so I could get the other ones screwed in. I think if I'd mostly screwed then all on before I tightened any then that would have prevented that issue. ... show more

The support bracket is too short and the mounting poles not deep enough to support more than few lbs on this shelf even when mounted on wall studs (with nothing on the shelf, it wobbles/moves and does not seem stable). The shelf itself is ok and there is plenty of additional space on the shelf either side of the existing support bracket for a longer and deeper frame support, but it appears as though WELLAND chose to cut corners on materials here. In addition, as others have stated, mounting screws are of poor quality and easily stripped/broken when mounted in a stud and I had to purchase 3rd party screws in order to mount the bracket. Hopefully WELLAND they will listen to their customers and revise the design and material to include a longer and deeper support bracket. I purchased similar (actually much larger) shelves of the same design style some years ago at Ikea and didn't have this issue. ... show more
