I didn’t think I’d really use it but I was wrong. I find myself reaching for this daily. It’s held up for a couple months with no issues. If you want a nice little flush cut saw, this is perfect. Update 8/6/23 5 months later -I still use this saw 3-4 times per week and it has never let me down. It does take a little bit of getting used to using, but after that you are able to make pretty accurate cuts. It comfortable to hold while using and is very efficient. Nicely made saw, very sharp and a nice presentation of what a crafting saw should be. If I were to ask for any improvement it would be the handle, maybe a thumb stop carved in the handle and maybe even finger notches. My hands are not what they use to be and I struggled a little holding on to the saw when I was cutting some Basswood. I bet it wood plow through softer woods. This is an effective tool. I sawed pretty deep into my thumb before I realized that's what I had done, so I would say the blade is definitely sharp and is able to cut through a variety of materials. I wouldn't recommend this for sawing through thicker chunks of wood, though.

I have limited mobility in my right shoulder. Sawing is difficult. I can use this saw for small jobs pretty easily. My seven year old granddaughter loves working with wood. She can use it easily with adult supervision so I gave one to her parents to use with her. It would not be safe for a small child without close supervisio. This is a no thrills Japanese style Flush Cut dual sided Pull Saw for a very nice price. One side is for crosscutting and the other for rip cutting. I have only tested it on soft wood and not hard wood or thick plywood, but the cut was good quality and easy.
