Nicely made saw, very sharp and a nice presentation of what a crafting saw should be. If I were to ask for any improvement it would be the handle, maybe a thumb stop carved in the handle and maybe even finger notches. My hands are not what they use to be and I struggled a little holding on to the saw when I was cutting some Basswood. I bet it wood plow through softer woods. The saw itself is fab. I love how light and small it is. I can now make quick cuts with little hassle and less mess. My only quibble is that the safety guards are basically useless and that prevents a challenge if you want to carry the saw around a property to make pruning cuts. The guards are designed to slide on—but they also slide OFF with ease. They’re just flimsy pieces of plastic with no mechanism to stay locked in place. It’s a pain the but for me but not a dealbreaker—though it may be for others. Be forewarned! ... show more
