I bought this because I am now on a fitness and weight loss journey. I walk about 3 to 4 miles each day and wanted to step up my efforts. At first I bought an 8lb vest but when it arrived, I quickly realized that it was too light and I would need a heavier one soon, so I returned it and got the 12lbs. Yes, I could have gone up to 10 first but I decided to walk shorter distances at first to get used to it, and that worked for about a week and I was soon up to 3 or 4 miles wearing it. It is made very well and fits nicely with the adjustable straps. I am only 5 ft tall and this could easily be used for someone taller than me. it is super durable and helps me work up a good sweat when working out and walking. There are no funny smells or poor stitching at all. I am very happy with this one!

Who knew 12 pounds would be so heavy? As a beginner I probably should have gotten the lighter version, but will keep this one and just take it easy for a while. The vest is very well made, and has the weight distributed very well. It has a small enough profile I can wear it under a sweatshirt. It fits very well and adjusts easily. It's going to be a nice addition to my walks.

The media could not be loaded. It seems to be working fine. I have a 12 pounder. It seems like it’s not a way until you get the boxes pretty heavy to start off with but overtime. It’s comfortable as adjustable straps if you need more room. Only thing you would need is just a pouch t to carry your phone or keys on it, but it seems to be durable, easy of application and to put on they didn’t recognize it a smell.
