Don’t even think about using this for a dog potty spot. Zero drainage. Ineffective holes. If it will be in the sun, the stench from the black rubber will never ever ever go away. Would be OK on the shaded patio, looks good but I specifically need drainage which was a lie. Other brands are twice as much but they actually drain. That’s the whole purpose. ... show more

I ordered a bunch of these Artificial Grass roles from different brands to compare and contrast... but as it turns out, they're all entirely identical, with only the slightest variation on length. These smell pretty bad right out of the packaging, but it isn't noticeable after airing out. The inside-end of the roll also takes a bit to relax and stay flat, but eventually does with some coaxing and time in the sun. It's wrapped in cling wrap, then a tarp-like wrap on the outside. When handling it, it leaves a substance on my hands... I feel like more time in the sun will only cause it to leach more, so I think this will always be a problem, but it's more prevalent on the bottom than on the grass portion. The grass itself feels decent on bare skin. It didn't shed too much, and vacuums nicely. The rubber backing has little holes in it to pin to the ground, as needed. The width measures 3 feet, but the length seems to vary slightly between 59-60 inches. It all comes down to price, and this one seems competitive if you only need a small amount. ... show more

We had to pull up our deck after a massive ice storm and the cracking and falling of our tree branches cracked the deck. What a mess. But after I had a large swarth of dirt--just dirt. At first I was going to try to grow grass but then we had the blistering summer from hell. Scortch that idea. My son had just laid artificial turf at his home in Florida. He suggested I do the same. But he said, try out several types before you lay it. So all summer long, I have been ordering swatches of turf. All of them, and this one included, come tightly wrapped. Actually it is a job to get them unwrapped. They all smell when first out of the package but it dissipates quickly. It lays down easily and stays down even though not formally attached as you would in a permanent installation. It withstood 70 mph winds, torrential rain and three dogs . It cleans really easy and dog urine does not stain it. My three hounds urinate on it regularly. While some of the other samples have faded, this one has not. It has a richer color than the others and the length is a little longer. It feels better under the feet. The blades stand up well and haven't packed down. So all in all, I am pleased with this particular piece of turf. ... show more

I ordered several different brands of faux grass for a Halloween display and they are all about the same. This one arrived just as expected. I appreciated that it rolled out without kinks or dents so it was ready to use right away. The color is good and the grass held up to a lot of walking over throughout the month. It was easy enough to cut if you need a specific size or shape. It doesn't exactly match the other brands I ordered, I would recommend ordering all from one brand if you want them to be identical but this was a great product and I would definitely recommend it. ... show more
