    • Excellent Chains For Older Bikes
SRAM acquired Sachs Huret many years ago and with it they also acquired the venerable Sedisport chain. The Sedisport was used by just about everyone from the late 70s into the 90s regardless of the price of the bike. SRAM cannot use the Sedis name but the design lives on in these 800 series chains. They shift quickly and smoothly and last a very long time even under heavy use. My old chain was stretched too far. This was reasonably priced and good quality. So far I’ve ridden over 75 miles since replacing the old chain. One master link pair is included with the new chain. No tools are required to complete installation.
