I was nervous about this item bc I didn't want it to be super flimsy. It is pretty sturdy and solid, it doesn't feel cheap and it doesn't wobble. I read a review that the drawers fly out and I thought I will just be careful but ours came with stoppers so you cannot pull the drawer all the way out. The drawers are sort of small but I accounted for that and The shelves can store a decent amount and for the cubby hole, I got little square bins. ... show more

I’ve assembled multiple examples of particle board laminate shelving but this example is far below the quality of any past examples from the likes of Target or Walmart. The unit is poorly designed. The wood is thin and the laminate is paper thin. The slightest contact leaves scratches. It took over an hour to assemble and the finished product isn’t worth half of the price paid. I bought this to serve as pantry overflow, because it was small. It was a gift for my Son’s small apartment and frankly it was embarrassing to give. I will be seeking a refund or partial credit in which case I’d say it was appropriate for the price. However at $130 it presents a terrible value. I suggest looking for used furniture or shopping where you can actually see the finished assembled product. ... show more
