When i took the comforter out of the box it was in a bag. It looked pretty flat and thought “hmmm, this should be interesting.” The minute a started to open the bag it started to inflate like an emergency raft. It made me laugh because it was popping out of the bag before i could get the rest of the bag opened. When it was out of the bag it was better, but still not as fluffy as I thought it would be. Then I read the instructions saying to rub each section to fluff. I massaged it and kneaded it like dough and VIOLA- perfect fluff and softness. I had an older faux down comforter in my duvet previously and thought the duvet was looking shabby and was going to replace that. After getting this comforter I was pleased with how new and “alive” it looked again. I tend to run warm in general and find this is a good heaviness and warmth level. I would definitely buy again

I'm lying in bed, on the brink on crashing hard. I think about my old bedding and shudder. Get this dang comforter! No cover is needed. It's perfect for summer nights and I can't wait to use it when the weather cools down (I run hot at night and always seek that perfect coolness to warmth ratio for maximum coziness). I've washed it a few times and it hadn't diminished in quality at all. No lumps, it's still pretty poofy, and definitely still comfortable. Get it in oversized and pair it with some high quality sheets (I found a white set of 1200 count at Ross for like $30, but there's probably quality sheets on here, too.) Trust me--I consciously decided to come here to write this review instead of drifting off to sleep with my weekender. I want more of them to create a sort of super bed with levels of comfort totally unfathomable to man... 😴

I really love this comforter. It’s extremely soft and warm but also light enough that I don’t sweat at night. As soon as I received the comforter, I took it out of the airtight packaging and it fluffed up substantially. I threw it in the wash and washed on a normal cycle then hung it up to dry. It washed really easily and dried a lot faster than I thought it would. It also has loops on the corners and edges of the comforter so that you can easily put it in a duvet cover, which is one of my favorite features. This comforter is hands down the best one I’ve ever had. I also really love how large it is. I was searching for a comforter that was big enough to completely cover my big California king sized bed and still touch the ground so that I wouldn’t have to purchase a dust ruffle (I purchased the oversized king which is 116x98). I did measure several times before I purchased to make sure that it would be the size I wanted as well as fit the duvet cover I was looking at buying (Target has some great linen duvets that would fit this comforter). I put my new duvet over it and it looks exactly the way I hoped it would. So glad I bought this.

If you have a spouse that likes to steal the covers, this is the comforter for you! It is perfectly oversized, giving us both a significant overhang on both sides without looking weird. It is very well made, I was impressed with the reinforced edges. It also has loops on each corner so it can be tied into a duvet cover which is invaluable. Note...it is very warm. If you are in a warmer climate this probably isn’t the comforter for you.

I purchased this blanket to add to my collection of blankets I use nightly. See, I like to have a stack of blankets for "weight" if you will. However, with it being the summer....this stack has gotten a bit hot! So, I thought about how I am always chilly at a hotel and looked for that style of blanket. I put this blanket right between my flat sheet and first blanket (so now this is the first blanket) and BOOM! Nice weight, but COOL! I am so happy with my new set up. It drives my husband bonkers. He literally only sleeps with a single sheet, even in winter. But me....I need that weight! And a little bit of warmth without sweating me out. Weekender quilted down alternative comforter is the perfect addition to my backwards princess and the pea situation I have going on each night.

I LOVE this comforter, it is so so so perfect!!! > You don't even need a duvet cover, it's fluffy all by itself. > It is SO soft. > It fits our all of our ridiculous additions to our normal king sized mattress.... (pillow top mattress, 6" foam mattress topper, AND 2" mattress foam pad), the ONLY comforter I have been able to find that fits— not sure I could find a duvet that fits over it... if I even wanted one! > I washed it in my washer despite the instructions saying not to do so... my washer is completely average, with a spiral agitator in the middle SO I am a bit of a rebel I guess hahaha (I am actually just very impatient & wanted to use it immediately). It came out JUST fine, all of the fluff still distributed evenly... no rips & no stains... a lot of wrinkles but that's because my washer and dryer are probably too small & wrinkles truly don't bother me, it still looks so good!! I would highly recommend this comforter!!!

Good for the price. I'm allergic to down so this is a nice option. Even though the cleaning instructions suggested not washing it in a machine, I did it anyway out of the box. I prefer cleaning new bedding before use. I had no problems by doing so. I washed it on gentle and dried it on low. It took awhile to dry as expected but came out good as new. I put it in a king size duvet cover because I had a hard time finding one I liked in oversized queen and it fits fine.

Pros: great price, comfy, and decent quality. Cons: not quite as big as I hoped. It doesn't fall over the edges of our king bed they way I thought it would. Though, we do have a pillow top so that may be why. It's also an aqward size and you have to squish it into most duvets. Two side notes: First, it is very warm. Making it great for winter and those who get cold easily. If you are warm natured I wouldn't advise buying it. Second, do not wash it in the washer. It says on the package that it has to be dry-cleaned. I hate seeing reviews of people pissed it fell apart in the wash when washing instruction specifically say to not wash it.
