I am very pleased with the size, structure, style, and sturdiness of this desk. It makes efficient use of space, providing a good amount of desktop surface within arms reach, yet nestling easily within the small nook I have set up for my workspace. The length of the side return is just enough that I can butt it up against the wall behind me, and still have a good amount of space for my swivel office chair. I like the "Industrial Style" aesthetic. The desk arrived sooner than expected, in a single box. It is recommended that two people carry it, however I was able to bring it up two flights of stairs and assemble it myself without much difficulty. The hardware was in a clearly labeled blister pack, and included tools and spare parts, which I didn't need but were nice to have. The assembly instructions were clear enough, printed in 6 panels on a single sheet, with directions for a right hand return on one side and a left hand return on the other. I impatiently rushed through directions, at one point accidentally flipping the sheet over, which resulted in a few mistakes on my part, but I was able to quickly and easily correct my errors.     • Sturdy and Efficient Desk
When shopping for a desk it's always scary because you're never sure if the size you're ordering is going to be true to what is described. However, this desk is honestly pretty huge and leaves you with a ton of space. (IMO, if you're going to have more than one monitor on it I'd definitely recommend getting a monitor mount. Otherwise, space becomes more limited.) Easy to Assemble: I have a lot of health conditions and putting stuff together is not always the easiest for me. However, I was able to put this together with very little help and honestly, if I wasn't held back I could've put it together all by myself. The instructions are very easy to follow. The only negative thing I have to say about it is the tools it comes with to put it together can make the process a little more difficult. If it weren't for the tools hindering the process, it would've been put together much faster. (Or if I just had proper tools.) Sturdiness: I have two monitors sitting on the top along with my textbooks from school, and it is holding up very well. It is a little shakey since I have it sitting on the carpet, but it's a lot more stable whenever you have it sitting on solid ground. Value for money: I'd say you're getting a great deal for what you pay for it. I bought the extra-large desk that was $125.32 when I ordered it. The materials are really nice, much nicer than what I thought I was getting when I paid that much. I'd say this desk is definitely worth the money. I wish the desk was a little wider, but I also don't have a monitor stand so my monitors take up a lot of room. If it weren't for that, the desk would be perfect for me. ... show more

This is a great desk. Easy to assemble. Note the the holes for the screws are lined with a hard plastic that makes it sturdy and won’t tear up the wood. My only complaint is that the desk is only 18” deep. With computer and keyboard there is no room for your hands. Other than that it is a great addition to my office and there is plenty of room underneath for my chair without banging my knees. ... show more

The Desk is marked as large, but the measurements are from the back side of the desk and the L, making it smaller than you think. The desk is so easy to assemble. I reversed the L from right to left hand after losing the instructions and was able to easily put the desk back together. The metal, as mentioned by others, is sheet metal and you can easily crush it in when tightening screws. It comes with a small Allen wrench/screwdriver combination and mini wrench for assembly - might be better using your own hex set to assemble. Desktop is only 19" (48.26 cm), so there is limited real estate. The Finish on everything is well done, but the leg paint will come off if you over tighten screws. The Desk shakes a lot when you bump into it, but is fairly sturdy, just don't expect it to hold up to excessive shaking or weight. Overall happy with it, just wish I had read the measurements more closely. ... show more

    • Great desks for a great price!
My husband and I bought two of these for our office/hobby room. We bought these specifically because they were reversible which was needed for them to fit in the space we wanted to put them. Assembly was fairly easy. Other then my slip up of building the second one backwards (There were a few mikes hard lemonades involved that could be blamed) they were simple enough. The only slight con is that some of the pieces for the desk don’t align perfectly (slight gap or lip) but nothing really bad. I’m not one that writes reviews but I did feel like I needed to for this item. The reviews had me scared a little about the desks coming damaged, falling apart within days, the boxes arriving missing pieces, and unhelpful building instructions. This was the first piece of “furniture” I’ve boughten from Amazon and I had none of those issues. I believe we’ve had the desks for a month or two now and they are still amazing. So this review is to tell you to do it. You’ll spend more on a desk from Walmart that is smaller and crappy then you will on this desk that is sturdy. For the price point, you really get a nice desk with nice quality. I would definitely recommend them to any and everyone if you are wanting a desk like these. ... show more
