Is this a two or three finger grip mug? Considering the mug’s potential content, the designer was long on style, short best case user friendly. Not seriously off, but 18 oz. liquid, quarter inch short of brim does have heft. A wider handle at the contact area for the fulcrum finger would be better. In practical use, weight of clear liquids becomes a two fingers’ grip minor awareness as full-mug suggests “man-grip” isn’t needed. A second potential issue is the near squared-off internal bottom that may be more dishwasher friendly than washcloth, though cylinder size provides enough entry for cleaning. This Wedgwood shows transparency only when backlit. Four weeks daily use, three times per day got to the wallet for a second purchase. The mug itself is lightweight and holds more than appears possible. Attached photos’ mugs hold near identical liquid content in actual use. The glass mug reflects content color into its base, creating an illusion of more liquid than exists. The old partner needs a definite three finger grip due to the mugs added mass-weight. Though two fingers is less relaxed than my old mug’s three finger grab-lift, the Wedgwood could go 2 or 3, but lifts with two finger preference for slender-fingers’ size medium-glove hand. ... show more

I ordered these as a replacement to a couple mugs that recently broke. I have been using Jasper Conran Wedgewood mugs for 25 years. I am not sure why I decided to go through Amazon, as the price was similar to Jasper Conran. But, these are heavier than the originals and the walls are thicker as well. I would not buy and go straight to Jasper Conran. My suspicion is partly confirmed by another review stating that they are fake ... show more

This is my son's favorite mug! He has 6 of these Wedgewood mugs, and they're the only mug he will use! Thre mug is huge by my standards, but he's a big guy, and, every day, it's the perfect start to his day.

This a beautiful and well made mug. Please be aware that it is much larger than the description. It holds 20oz. to the brim, that is 1.25 pts not the 0.85 pts in the title. Amazon should update the title description.

Mug is fine for what it is. I ordered two . One arrived with handle broken. I read the reviews which indicated this was a possibility and took a chance the problem was corrected . It wasn't.

I Love these large bone china mugs but Amazon just can not package them to get to me in one piece what a shame, for the lack of packing and six broken mugs later I would love to get them but just not broken.I already own some of these and they are 14oz large and comfortable to hold.

I ordered 3 Wedgwood mugs to complete a set that I have used for over 15 years. The original Wedgwood are elegant, beautifully made and sturdy. The 3 mugs I received were of different heights, had rims of different width and clearly did not fit with the other 6 that I have home which are identical. The mugs are beautiful: simple with a clean, elegant design...but they are gigantic! We still love them, but be aware that each mug holds about two full cups of coffee.
