I mix in 1/4 of the honey with 1 tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar into 8 oz of water along with 1 tsp of organic turmeric powder, 1 tsp of organic ginger powder, 2 sprinkles of cayenne pepper, and a sprinkle of cinnamon powder. I'm not sure of all the benefits but it does curb my appetite, boost my immune system, and alleviate my allergies. This could be due to the mix of everything and not solely the Manuka honey. I dab a little onto a acne and even cuts and in two days GONE! Because it’s so expensive I savor every drop and only use it when medically needed. I even had a friend try it, she had sores in her nose and it felt better by the next day and was gone in three days it works on everything so worth it.     • Is this really Manuka honey?
On my veterinarian's recommendation, I started purchasing Manuka honey. I ordered a different brand than this one on Amazon 5 times and he always ate it; even when he wouldn't eat his regular dog food. He has a collapsing trachea and the Manuka honey helps to soothe his throat after he coughs. It is also supposed to provide some other healthy attributes. After paying $63 for the other brand 5 times, I tried this brand. My dog will not eat it. He smells it and walks away. I tasted the Wedderspoon brand and it tasted like honey you might buy in a grocery store. The other brand (which my dog liked) tasted oddly wild and weedy. I did not like the taste, but my dog did and that's the important thing for me. The Wedderspoon honey does not list a value for UMF or MGO, which the other brand did. Maybe that is part of the difference. I can't get my money back or return the Wedderspoon honey because it's food and I understand that, but I'm out $38 and I guess I'll just use it on some toast. ... show more

    • The Honey has a nice flavor
The price of the 8 oz jar of honey was over priced. I used the honey on yogard and tea, also in water with lemon and apple cider vinegar. Sometimes when I had a craving for something sweet I would take a half of a teaspoon. Love the taste! What I didn't like, the honey went too fast.

    • This is amazing tasting honey and very nutritious.
I like the flavor. I use it to make my honey ginger turmeric antibiotic and my honey garlic mix for antibiotics. Great for sore throats with some lemon.
