Like the cable hanger on the spatula. Disliked the hanger tong lock device. The slip to the side unlock looks like it will break and I don't like the shape of the end spoons on the tong. And, if I had known there was an extra wide spatula I would have bought that instead of the spatula/tong combo.

I had an old set of barbecue utensils, a spatula and some cheap tongs. The spatula worked ok but the tongs never did. I finally broke down and bought this Weber set after looking at some at a market that were $25.00. These look and feel much better and although appear very large in size don't feel that way when using. The extra length keeps you away from the heat and they manipulate very easily. The material is stamped steel which cleans easily. These should last quite a while as long as I don't leave them outside in the weather. I also figured that Weber being a leader in grills would also know how to design grilling utensils. These don't appear to be a mass produced cross marketed product that bears the name of several companies. Yes there are others out there that are even more expensive and many that are less. I stuck with the Weber name and their traditions.

I own about 6 sets of Weber tools (I grill a LOT), and this is the first 'new' set since they discontinued the older line of tools. The main difference on the spatula is use of a stainless steel cord instead of leather (welcome, and fits great on all my Weber grill tool hooks). The tongs on the other hand have a steel ring which moves between cams to allow the tongs to open fully vs staying closed. I found it frustrating at first, but once I got used to it it was OK. The one drawback is it only worked when moved one way, so not as simple to use as the older style, but typical Weber quality and should last forever.

I am a large griller/smoker. I have both a Weber Genesis gas grill and a Green Mountain Gills pellet smoker. I keep going through BBQ tool sets, mainly because the tie to place them on the grill hook is just that, a piece of leather stripping that is tied together. They all eventually break and then I need to buy a new one. I found these, which have a metal loop instead of the typical leather strip. The metal loop seems to be made for the Weber grill hooks, as they have the same shape, but of course work for any hook so long as it fits inside the metal loop. These are large tools, the spatula is fine, but I find the tongs to be larger than I'd prefer. They still work of course, but just seem large for smaller meats like bratwursts, hot dogs, etc. Not a deal breaker at all, I have plenty of other tongs and can reserve these ones for larger items like ribs. Build quality seems top notch, these are heavy and sturdy BBQ tools.

I got these recently to give as a gift. I actually had this set for a few years and they're still great. I don't grill daily with them and I keep in them indoors so not very heavy usage, but they've outlasted a lot of other things. Minor negative is leaving them our in the direct sun they'll get pretty hot, but I wouldn't want plastic tools or handles.

This is hands down the best grill set on Amazon, I tried a couple. I was gifted a grillset and also bought a Cuisinart set, both were terrible in terms of appearance and build quality. However, this Weber set is terrific. They feel solid and are well built with no rough edges or defects. The handles are also very comfortable compared to the other sets and the hangers are easy to use.

I bought this for the spatula, which is excellent. I gave the tongs away because I have others I'm used to. The person to whom I gave the tongs likes them, but I prefer the style that uses the ends of the arms rather then the (bottom) side. Thee spatula is first rate - very sturdy, and long enough to avoid the heat.

Anyone who grills would appreciate these tools. At first they appear a bit big and clumsy but don't let that stop you. They are the BEST grilling tools. Sturdy. Don't rust. Easy to clean-can even go in the dishwasher top rack. Long handles so you don't burn yourself. The burger flipper is large and holds a good sized burger or anything else heavy that you need to use it on. The tongs have long handles that can grasp anything with good "pinching power", even the delicate stuff. The silicone insert on the tongs is fantastic and the tongs will lock together for easy storage. Both items come with a stainless hanging loop for easy storage.
