    • I love the hook halters
I have found the hook halter to be much easier to use especially when handling young stock who often don't have the patience to stand while tying. the hook allows you to just fasten and go and work on patience as needed. I've watched many youngsters escape during the tying process which can create more problems down the line. I understand the safety involved in having metal free halters but there is also a safety factor involved in the catch. I have tried converting the tie halters to hooks but at $8 or more for the hook alone and then the time involved in redesigning the halter it just isn't worth it. I’m short & have a tall horse who putting on a rope halter was challenging. The mustang clip makes this a sure winner. It’s so easy to put on & take off & holds in place well. Highly recommend!!!

My Husband and I love these halters. I have MS and issues with hand dexterity, and these halters are SO easy and fast to get on and off. Plus, even if they are sized to fit your average to large quarter horses, they'll still fit a smaller cobb size horse well enough to use safely, so you can use these interchangeably between horses. Really nice rope halter and lead that looks nice too. It can be a bit tricky when untied, but unless you're frequently using across very different sized horses and have to adjust it frequently, you'll be happy with it.
