For my PRE very very big headed stallion, this fit perfect! Very durable for sure, super functional with adjustable length around the nose area as well as behind ears. The braid work is very appealing & looks very clean. It’s a nice darker brown color. I wouldn’t suggest fr smaller breed horses, as it is very large. Really pretty halter, nice quality for the price. I bought one for each horse for ‘play clothes’ because I like the safety of leather for turnout. but it’s so pretty I can’t seem to turn them out with these. I may save them to wear at horse shows.

This a really nice halter I do live it. However it fits more like an oversized halter. Its a little large on my horse who normally fits a normal horse size.

    • Poor quality leather but pretty design
While the braided leather design is beautiful to look at, I am highly disappointed by the quality of the leather. It is so stiff that I had to get my husband (who also struggled) to unbuckle it! I soaked in a bag of oil for 24 hours, wiped it dry and applied high quality leather conditioner twice and it is still difficult to buckle. If it had a side snap, it wouldn't be as much of an issue because I would only need to deal with the buckle once. ... show more
