I ordered this halter twice. The first one arrived with a broken grommet where the leather piece attaches to the nylon strap. I returned it and ordered another. I shouldn’t have bothered. It broke in the exact same spot as the first one. Don’t waste your money!

Nice halter but breakaway feature is too flimsy. I have had 2 of these snap while leading my horse with almost no pressure creating an unsafe situation for us both. Used only a handful of times before leather tears leaving me with a brand new halter that is useless. Would never buy this halter again. ... show more

Great quality for a great price. The only advice I would give is if you have a horse with a big head like my OTTB, it is a little snug even having it on the last hole. There is not much room to add an additional hole. However, it still fits him so to me it’s still a win!
