The pads feel amazing and the top pad is just stiff enough to where it the headset doesn’t put all its weight on the top of my head and all the padding is thick and not extremely thin compared to the others I have looked at. 10/10 would recommend buying for its great quality and budget friendly price. It also comes with a great installation video to guide you through it.

PROS COMFORT- These are pretty comfortable the cooling gel works great u notice it right away after coming from the original mesh pads that the a50 comes with. The memory foam on the headband is ultra soft and easy to switch out. CONS SOUND- the sound does get lowered since they are more plush and a thicker fabric but all u have to do is simply turn the volume up I’ve seen a few complaints about this i don’t really get it since the a50s can get really loud BUILD QUALITY- the magnets on the wicked cushions are noticeable weaker than the originals and the top of headband feels really cheap I prefer the glossy finish on the originals. My biggest gripe with these is when I’m done using them I have to find the sweet spot to connect them to the base station the problem is the ear cups slightly overlaps with each other but it’s not a big deal. OVERALL- I say get them there worth it don’t think twice about it there more comfortable and they don’t get as war as the originals I hope this helps!

This mod kit completely changed the comfort level of my Astro A50 headset. The cooling gel earpads are soft, breathable, and make long gaming sessions way more comfortable — no more overheating or pressure on my ears. The new headband padding also fits perfectly and adds great support without being too tight. Installation was super easy, everything clicked right into place, and the quality feels premium. The materials are durable, and the stitching and finish look even better than the stock pads. If you use your A50s for hours at a time, this upgrade is 100% worth it. It feels like a brand-new headset again — super comfortable and great sound isolation!

Couldn't be happier with this mod. Added just a little thickness to the ear pad, allowing for more distance for my ears to fit perfectly without touching the inner speaker wall. I went back and forth, and while the Astro was pretty comfortable out of the box, these replacement pads just added to the comfort and seem to keep my ears cooler, and are of great quality. They snap on via magnetic connectors, so no fiddling. Great addition and am very happy with them.

10 out of 5 - I bought this headset at the peak of pricing during the pandemic. The headband receiving clips broke, the ear pads wore down, as well as the top pad. This kit made it look brand new, and I didn't know I could be excited about refreshing the whole thing. Separately I also bought the clips for the headband. I definitely recommend those, too, if you ran into the same headband clip breaking. That aftermarket clips to remedy it were perfect. Anyway, this stuff was awesome. Again, I didn't know I would feel this good getting all the stuff replaced. Feels better than the original (I got the gel pads that came in the replacement kit, but I see you can get the more standard. The gel isolates the headphone audio a bit more the standard, so it kinda reduces the open back aspect of the Astro headset itself. If you want it to remain the same, probably opt for the cloth(?) type that's most similar to the original. Regardless, I think these are awesome

i’ve been using these replacements for a few months now and i can say is they are the BEST. i have no more pain in the top of my head due to the headband fitting to my head well. i personally think these new ones noise cancel better then the ones that come with the A50’s. everything is super soft but still cradles your head so it doesn’t fall off. i haven’t noticed much of a cooling effect but to be fair my head doesn’t get sweaty with headphones 🤷🏻 either way these are an absolutely amazing product and would highly recommend them to ANYONE with A50’s. easily better then the ones from the factory. oh and the video to replace the pieces for the headset was very straightforward and easy to understand :) got it done in under 5 minutes
