100% better than the originals that came with my Astro A050’s (gen 4) especially the top headset piece I have used them for a couple weeks now and they are very comfortable all the way around they also fit into the base station perfectly just like the originals did I’m not sure if they fix the top headset piece from falling out because I already had the plastic clip I purchased on Amazon to keep that from happening and I just put it back on when these arrived they are extremely easy to change no tools or anything the ear cups are held in with magnets you simply just pull them off and stick the new ones back on I have never noticed any cooling features they talk about ( nor did I really expect to honestly) they may be more expensive than others but well worth it I would highly recommend these to anyone

So I was excited for this upgrade for my Gen4 a50s. First the goods. Feels great when you first put them on, looked great, noticable sound difference between gaming and music and blocked outside noise well. My only con with them is after just a few hours of gaming my ears and sides of my head got annoyingly hot, which was odd cause a portion of this pad is considered to have froze gel. If it wasn't for this I would 100% keep but having to take off my headset just after a few hours cause of excessive heat just turns me off. Otherwise everything else was GREAT.
