I made sure to wait a bit before reviewing this product. First of all, brand new, these ear cups smell amazing. Haha. The material is indeed very high quality. It is very soft and comfortable to use. The best part is that it is not made out of any materials that peel off with time or with use. So you can rest assured that your WC ear cups will be looking snazzy for many years to come. True to its name FreeZe, it does indeed keep your ears cooler than the stock ear cups your headphones will normally come with - by a large margin. If you are in an air conditioned room, there's a good chance that even after hours of use, you won't sweat. It's that good. I don't have air conditioning but I don't sweat as much with these on for a long time. The only thing I wish this was, was washable. But it is not washable, the cooling gel inside is not meant to be washed. I did message Wicked Cushions and they said the best way to keep your WCs clean and odor free is by wiping it with Clorox Disinfecting Wipes after every long session. So there's that! These cushions were perfect replacements for the stock cushions on my steelseries arctis pro wireless headset. As a software developer/gamer/tech junkie, I log a lot of hours in my headsets, so comfort is priority. These cushions hit the mark there. My only minor issue is that they are a little pricey for what they are, and I was expecting them to breathe a little better than they do. The cooling gel offsets the heat for a while, but eventually they do get warm. That being said, it's summer and I suspect the warmth will be more welcome as the seasons turn colder. Otherwise, they are quite comfortable and a small upgrade from the already decent stock cushions I had on my arctis pro headset. Oh and the designs are cool, I wish there were more to choose from, but the ones they have are good. Sound quality seems unchanged from the original set I had, although they seal a bit better because my original pads, for better or worse, were a more breathable airmesh fabric which leaked a bit more sound and were not quite as isolating as these gel pads. ... show more

I bought these to replace the stock pads on Yamaha HPH-MT5. After six months of use, the stock pads started to hurt my ears after 2 hours of use. So I ordered these three replacements pad. All three pads fit Yamaha HPH-MT5 no problem. 1. Brainwavz Perforated Thick Memory Foam Earpad Fake Leather The sound was changed significantly from stock pads, the snares wern't crispy, sound stage average, bass lacking. Very comfortable. 2. Brainwavz Angled Memory Foam Earpad Hybrid, Velour/Fake Leather The sound was changed significantly from stock pads, bass and snares were better then on perforated brainwavz and so was the sound stage. Still it was lacking luster and when I turned out the sound really loud it was unbearable. Comfortable but perforated brainwavz were more comfortable. 3. WC Freeze Cooling Gel Earpads Hybrid, Velour/Fake Leather These were the best. Installation was the easiest, the quality and look os better. The sound was way closer to originals. Crisp snares, vocals highs and good clear bass. Also the most comfortable pair. All three fitted Yamaha HPH-MT5 perfectly with WC Freeze having the best fit and clean look. ... show more

I really like my Artic Wireless headset, and its not that the stock ear cups are bad or anything, it's just that my head is gigunda, and my ears are too. The stock ear cups didn't keep the plastic part of the headset off my ears, which became uncomfortable in pretty short order. I bought these replacements and they're much more comfortable. It isn't that they're that much thicker, its that they have memory foam which creates a little more space. They're pretty comfy, hopefully they'll hold up. ... show more
