Honestly the best board you could buy as a beginner, especially if you’re not ready to drop $500+ on a new board. It’s extremely buoyant which makes it easier to stand up on and you’re able to catch just about any wave.

I absolutely love this surfboard! I use it more than my $1,000 firewire. It catches everything, makes surfing super fun. Great beginner board but I've been surfing for 3 years and it's still my favorite board for mellow waves :-)

    • It's a soft-top foamy that is solid, well made, and light. Does what it needs to. Kinda cute.
We bought this for boat wakes. Got up on it immediately and I'm 200 pounds. Seems fast enough to wake surf, though I couldn't get the right speed, but my 145 lb son could. Buy without fear. Does not blow away when you put in in the center of the boat on its side. :P

    • Nose should curve up rather than remain on plane
Board is good for beginners but is too flat so nose goes under unless you stay way back, which makes catching waves harder.

Bought for my daughter, she hasn't used it yet but appears to be a good beginner board. Will check back on durability at end of summer.

    • Very slick and hard for beginners to stand
Very slick even though it is foam. Hard to stand on compared with other foam boards. Roof straps made indentions easily.
