The control replacement is decent, great switch feel for china built (OEM built in Mexico), and it’s a quick install - you will spend more time removing/reinstalling the trim. That said, like others, I found the vacuum tube assembly way too short for my 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, and left the OEM one in place - good thing they were not damaged. Installed this on my 2005 Wrangler. The tubes included in this kit were short compared to what was installed on my Wrangler, but I attribute that to the fact that this kit is for a 99-2004. I had to re-route the tubes, but everything worked in the end. The switch itself feels good, and looks just like stock. ... show more

It is a direct replacement , however the vacuum hoses that come with it are approximately 5 inches too short no matter how you run them they will not work have to use the old vacuum hoses.
