This mount is the same as the Minn Kota except for one detail . It is priced a lot less also. It fit perfect on my I pilot. The only difference is the locking system if you plan to use it. The watersnake locking system is not as efficient as the Minn kota system. But for the difference in price it did not matter to me ... show more

Very good quick release but I had to purchase a 24 inch piece of aluminum in order for the trolling motor to be away from the front of the boat.The should make one 24 inches instead of 12 inches.

Although slightly overpriced, this quick release bracket seems very sturdy. I have not had a chance to actually use the trolling motor with this bracket as of yet since I had to modify the bow of my boat to get the right angle for the trolling motor to work properly.
