Update: 1 Star, This product is not worth the rime or money. We seriously used them once (in pic) and went to go use them the other day and and over half the lights did not work. This would have been a 5 star product besides a couple of issues. 1, The lights are water proof but the plug in is not. So that’s is a misleading title. It was a pain to figure out how to get the lights on a water area and the plug in part not in a water area. Issue 2, is the music part off it. You have to download a song to your computer and then to your phone and then to the app! It’s a long hot mess to say the least. I have a ton of purchased songs on my phone and I can’t add them to the app and it’s so frustrating especially since my computer is broken. I don’t understand why you have to go through so much trouble to put a song on the app. The app for the lights is so plain and even no customer service info or information about the app. So the little bar in the corner when you hit it all you get (see pic attached) is my devices and nothing you can do further after that. Even by clicking on the device. So what you see is what you get if you have no computer. Which is sad. There is no reason why we shouldn’t be able to drop, transfer or download a song from our phone into this app! Other than that the lights are great and bright. We have gotten a lot of compliments on them and the kids love them. Just wish the plug in part was waterproof and the music was more accessible because that’s what I paid for when reading about this product and the description of product and why we bought the product! So if you need a good set of bright lights great product but if you need all waterproof and music lights it’s not such a great product! Side Notes, Adhesion, is great very solid and stuck great! Once you put in it place. Has rained and everything since putting on and nothing has moved or come off! Remote Control, reminds you of those light up candles remotes. Have to be close to use it but works and not a lot of info comes with how to use the remote at least not in the box we received! ... show more

I bought this kit for deck lighting on my new boat. I liked the fact that I could change colors -- blue to match the boat and red or green to cut down on big attraction while fishing. Of course, you can get all combinations in between, too. The lights are very easy to install. The adhesive holds well, and the plug ends make it simple to connect them together. The lights are bright -- almost too bright in the boat at full power -- but dimmable. There are some downsides to this kit, though. While the lights are waterproof, the control box is not. You have to find a dry place to tuck it away. If you're using them on a boat, that pretty much makes the remote useless since it needs a direct line of sight to the box. There is a bluetooth app available for the lights, which is very nice when it works. Unfortunately, it often takes closing and restarting the app numerous times to get it to recognize your lights, and it will randomly disconnect, causing you to go through the process again when you want to turn off or change settings. Overall, the lights are awesome. They're bright, versatile and look great. The controls and app could use a little fine tuning, though. ... show more

After having them for so long I don't even use them anymore. They don't stay up easily, attaching the cords is always a Hassel. The remote box attached to the causes it to fall and needs to be drilled up onto the wall to stay. Definitely has a lot of options though. They also only connect one direction and the light gets dimmer farther down the line. ... show more

I put these up in my little sisters room and the 50 ft fit perfectly. There’s 3 total LED strips, the adhesive is great and I really like the little antenna that’s connected to the power box because it keeps the eye sore to a minimum, you can easily tuck the power box behind something and just keep the antenna up just a bit so the remote can catch it. The only bad thing I noticed is that the lights got dimmer as they extended further from the power box. All the strips have these little “connectors” I’m not finding the right words to describe it, kind of like how Christmas lights can be extended further and only have one power source. I really liked this because the past LED light strips I had didn’t have this so I had to conceal multiple power boxes. It’s just that when the light wrapped all the way around, it was pretty apparent that the last strip was significantly dimmer than the first since they meet at a corner. The first is very bright and vibrant and the last is a little dull. This can easily be fixed if you just connect 2 strips directly to the power box and connect the third one to both but my sisters room was too big to do this. If you don’t mind it being a little dimmer than the rest, I really like them but I can’t speak to the longevity of them since I’ve only had them for a few days. ... show more

    • The leds work, the stickies dont...

These leds work great, they are bright, the controller works, the remote works and fully functioning but....the sticky clips provided to stick on the wall suck. I thought maybe it was the surface or the paint but I tested them on other surfaces and paint...they sometimes stick but not for long. All surfaces were clean and dry. Most fell off when leds were clipped to them and others held on for a day or 2 but then fell off....on my 3yr old...while he was sleeping. Needless to say, this set is now in the closest until I have time to order some different clips and try again. The clips are the only reason I'm giving 4 stars. I needed them to work for the purpose I needed them for and they didn't. Beyond that, this is an excellent buy. ... show more
